I've got my results today. Actually, I'm 14 and this is my first attempt in IELTS, so 7.5 is absolutely awesome. Your channel's videos are really useful and interesting. Although I just scored 6.5 in Speaking, I realise that my Speaking skill has been improved a lot, partly thanks to you, Keith. Wish you the bests 🥰🥰🥰

One thing I think is important for people to know; it's more common to say "you alright" instead of just "alright". When said it just sounds like "yaright". You'd also always say the person you're speaking to's, or use an affectionate term like mate, pal, etc. It's more likely to sound something like "Yaright, James?" "Yaright, Daniel?" between two speakers.

"You must come over for dinner" exactly like we say it in Brazil, doesn't mean we really want the person to come to our house, we're just being polite! 😂

It is intesting because in my culture, if someone uses most of these phrases and expression and doesn't actually mean it/them, then that person would be considered arrogant and not a trusted person because have double personality. Hey and what about sarcasm? How is the british sarcasm and as learners how to be aware of it?

Kyoto was an ancient city in Japan and was a gathering place for the upper classes. There is something in common in terms of Britain's position in the world. very iteresting. I'm not Kyoto people.

British people are very preserved! ☺️😉 I imagine British people are mostly like Turkish people (Iran-Tabriz. An industrial and commercial city). Most of their sayings or sentences are indirect and almost always trying to imply something! 😁😁😆😆😂😂😂 especially in Bazar. And most Turkish people are best/great traders. They are famous in Iran for being smart in business. I think this way of thinking and production of language is because of our culture and the job they have!

Impressions and the intonation are very significant . even you learn about formal sentances , you do not know the way to improve your English speaking . Without showing your facial impressions and an expressive intonation that way is going to be informal. Sometimes we use slang but with an impressive way that sounds formal.
