Some people may ask why one would spend so much time fixing what could be bought for such a small price. I don't like seeing what isn't really trash being sent to the landfill. The actual physical effort to fix it is minimal. Some waste their time scrolling through social media and don't earn a dime doing so. Why not take a few hours and save landfill space for real junk and hone some fix-it skills. Great video showing the minimal errors and pitfalls that made it through editing.

I'm so against being wasteful that I'm mad at myself for cutting the zip-tie at 07:03.. It's simple to release the catch mechanism and reuse..

Thank you for posting I'm always getting fans and vacuum cleaners fixing them up and giving them to family member because 25 or $30 equals food on the table thank you for showing me how to oil them I never did that before slow turning fans I thought the motors were blown nope they just need oil
