I always wonder about Dumbledore & McDonagle. The movie hints that she knew more about the agreement between Dumbledore and Snape. And in Deathly Hallows not only she was protecting Snape as well as Harry.?

I am surprised 😯 , U mentioned Harry & Cho relationship but really forgot... how Harry - Ginny was absolutely butchered to death in Movies . Harry was more smart & sassy in books Ron was street smart & loyal in 📚 Ginny was independent, fierce & damn pretty in 📚 Hermione was book smart but not perfect as shown in movies Neville was more included in books Weasleys were also pretty much sued 😢 Movie's pretty much messed up the actual main character, tbh !!!

You're right. Ginny in the movies is probably my least favorite adaptation. That really deserves a full video by itself. I hope they do a good job of nailing it in the HBO show.

Im conflicted to see how well HBO will do the shows, seeing how they have done well with House of Dragon, but then when it comes to GOT, well, im not holding my breathe, but as long they are faithfully to the books and with the right actor to play the selected role, then we shall see 😅

At this point if you have any hope that a remake will be a positive for a work of fiction you are naive. Be happy with the original, it will be the best you are going to get until IP "laws" get nullified and fans can make something better without persecution and/or studios will actually have an incentive to do the IP justice and prove they are the superior storytellers.
