Piano Sight Reading GRADE 5: payhip.com/b/t...
40 Popular and Jazz Piano Sight Reading practice (Grade 3 and 4): payhip.com/b/4...
This is the part 2 of our series of Piano Sight Reading. Complies with the ABRSM standard of sight reading for Piano grade 2.
You can practice this in different ways. Pause it and take your time to read it for example, but ideally you will let the video run (at your convenient speed) and try to read the music on the fly, without stopping. You can control the speed using the speed control feature of KZbin.

I just wanted to say thank you so much for this. I am an adult learner and sight reading kills me as i feel very illiterate in music due to not being able to sight read as i would like to. This is AMAZING! It gave me hope. 😉

I just past Grade 2, still feel clueless. It seems my brain just does not process fast enough for the next correct note. Always silly mistakes, it seems no books/practices to work on the fundamentals, build up the ability. Always a struggle, don’t feel any progress even consistently practice it every day.

Mr. Palace, thank you so much for these sight reading practice videos. If I could have a CD or program with all of them on it, especially up to higher grades, I would buy it... for like $10, but still. I'm so grateful for how you've created these.

Do I really need to follow the number of fingering on this video? I get a lot of trouble when following it. It is much easier when I sight read this and use any fingers on my own terms. Beginner here
@musicwithnopain
@musicwithnopain 4 жыл бұрын
Fingering is suggested and you can ignore it. You can even ignore the dynamics, or the articulation, then come back in the future and add it to the information you take from each sample.
