Wow!! Fell in love from the 'get-go'!!! You got a FedEx MD-11 doing a go-around, and then actually landing!! I got an extra dose of my FedEx!! 😉😉 I'm guessing landing was 'unstable'?? Then, again, later, departing -- nice, early rotation!! The A380 is one huge plane!!! Thanks for all of the freighter planes -- especially the extended coverage of FedEx!! Superb filming!! There was a nasty crosswind that day. The MD-11s are required to go around if they bonce and float due to a design flaw that caused a serious crash. It happened a few years back that brought in that requirement. Thank you for your comment :)

What happened to that A380?

That A380 arrived earlier that morning as QF2. It was towed to the hangar for MX and then towed back to the gate at 1pm. It operated QF1 a few hours later.

Fedex MD-11 go around.. any reason?

There was a crosswind that resulted in the MD-11 floating. MD-11s are required by procedure to go around if they float due to a design flaw that resulted in a crash a few years back.
