Hey Brandon, I’m turning 60 this year and missed last season due to an infection that attacked my heart. 12 weeks ago I was having open heart surgery. Now I’m slowly rehabing my body and was looking for some stick handling drills to do in my basement. These are perfect and well taught. I know the day I get back on the ice my game will have to change and having better hands will really help. Thank you.

How can you move your blade of the stick? My movement is much slower.
@HockeyPlayersClub Жыл бұрын
Concentrate on the movement of the wrist of your top hand... and lots of practice!

Could you speak on what flooring is best for this type of activity?

We are using tiles from Hockey Shot in this video. We don't skate on them, so they work great!

Brandon, great workout but wouldnt you want to practice with your bottom hand closer to the puck so you stick isn't getting lifted and the puck stolen away?
@HockeyPlayersClub2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and the question, Ashley! At times, yes it would make sense to drop your bottom hand to be "heavier" on your stick. Like anything else in the nonstop action of hockey, the context of the situation makes all the difference. Please let me know if you have any other questions.
