Dude, slow the video down to 0.25xspeed, you can clearly see the other soldier he "snaps" to in his scope before the smoke goes up. So he knows there is at least one guy there. When he snaps you can also see he misses 3 out of 5 shots (even first shot at snap), so I don't really see why you'd call him out on that occasion.

Hey - no worries at all! Well, yes and no....but first a bit of background... In BF4, USA was badly needed on a technical level. The original system (like that used in BF3 / BC2 etc) just used static multipliers for ADS which didn't take into account your hipfire FOV when ADS'ing to different target FOVs. So a lot of the sights had different perceived sensitivities. Furthermore, without USA the aim transition (i.e the turn-rate whilst you are in the middle of the aim down sight animation) wasn't calculated, rather the turn-rate just dropped down suddenly as soon as you clicked the ADS button which felt really weird when you turned and aimed to target simultaneously. In BF1, Julian Manolov changed the way it worked with USA OFF, so that the game incorporates hipfire FOV for ADS turn-rate calculations, and (for some reason) set the screen space multipler to 100% of Vertcial FOV (even though 133% is actually technically closer to a uniform viewspeed as can be with a static monitor synchronisation point). So, in BF1 now, if I set the USA coefficient to 100%, the ADS sensitivity for all sights ( assuming all ADS sliders are at 100% also ) is exactly the same as with USA OFF and ON! So in reality the only difference between USA OFF and ON now in BF1, is a small change in default screen space coefficient (negligible difference in perceived sensitivity) and also that if you turn it OFF, you don't get the benefit of the game calculating the turn-rate during ADS transitions. *TL:DR* For players who developed their aiming in BC2 and BF3, and who are used to the unique (and strange) sensation of the sensitivity suddenly slowing down before they have fully aimed down sight, then they will prefer it OFF. For players who are used to other shooters like CS:GO, Call of Duty or most others that also calculate ADS transitions correctly, then it is better to run with it ON as it is technically a better system. There is no input lag advantage in either case which I've confirmed myself in multiple tests. Hope that helps!
