gw1 was insanely polished and had better maps, beautiful visuals, and was true to the pvz aesthetic, gw2 has more content but is way less polished and just throws everything out the window but it's pretty fun, wish it was more like gw1 though, the new characters are so not pvz, literally compare em to the gw1 characters and there's not a smidge of similarity, the visuals are garbage, a lot of features are broken, the maps are trash, and it doesn't have that iconic pvz aesthetic that gw1 has, gw1 is still an absolutely amazing game and i very much prefer it over gw2, but gw2 has more players, more content, and doesn't have the respawning issue gw1 has so i play that more at this point.
