Tell me about the finger trigger. Is it part of the Heil headset or an add on? I have a Heil HM 10 in the shack and instead of Vox, I push the transmit button on the TS 440. I would rather have the hand switch. That amp is awesome. de N4SHO.

It is an addon to the Heil headset...I usually use it outside because the wind will trigger VOX and I use the hand switch to combat the wind setting off VOX

I was experimenting here, used the LDG 100, which I have used all the time, I also have one that handles 250w and another (old boat anchor) that I love, manual tuning, when the weather is better again and I can sit outside, I will use it. Requires no power. AT-300, great tuner.

My high school grad party lasted for (hic!) two days on Middle Island. Thanks for the memory. I take it you don't bother with signal reports at that pace? Didn't you have to give and receive park numbers?
