20 mistakes that should be avoided while selling online: 1. Avoid selling branded products. Branded products are not easy to sell as the margin is less and competition is high. 2.Avoid selling high-value products due to return percentage. 3.Avoid selling bulky products because shipping cost increases. 4.Stop buying products from an average whole seller. Check the background of the buyer as the cost increases. 5.Stop buying small quantities at a high price. To reduce price, buy in bulk. 6. Avoid products locally if you want unique products with good margins. Give preference in importing products from China. 7.People have a tendency to buy trending products. So not buying a unique product is a mistake. 8. Targeting top-selling products. They have high competition so avoid focusing on it. 9. Not managing accounts properly. Focus on accounting. Monitor all expenses. 10. Doing no costing of products can result in loss. 11.When you do not focus on packaging result in a mistake. Packaging defines quality and impression. 12. When you do not focus on return analytics. Check location, interest, psychology of customer, etc. 13. When you don't make combos. Chances are more for the orders when you start selling in combos. 14. Creating no multiple listings. Give something free with a product to increase sales. 15. Keeping low margins to gain sales is a mistake. It is better to use different keywords. Try to take 10 variants of each product. 16. Not running ads for selling products. Put ads to sell products that have high margins because conversion is more with ads. 17. Providing no proper customer service. Professional customer service helps to retain clients. 18. Maintain returns wrongly. It has to be handled effectively. 19. Doing no focus on wholesale business simultaneously is a mistake. 20. Keeping no proper staff to manage. Train your staff and focus on core work.
