Being herbivores, gorillas don't have the urge to sink their teeth into flesh. They don't enjoy violence. They have all the qualities that make an animal successful carnivore (strength, big jaws, canine teeth) but they prefer to be herbivores whenever it's possible. They live in normally peaceful hierarchical troops and take care of all members. I just admire and love gorillas so much.

Ok I’m sorry but that second video is not poachers trying to kill gorillas! Please research before believing everything you see. First, why would poachers film themselves trying to illegally kill animals?! That’s just dumb. Second, that video has been out for years and it is showing how this one guy was getting really close with a family of apes and you can see how that one gorilla charges him very aggressively and the guy doesn’t even flinch! Total beast this guy was lol. Then you can see this man with a baby gorilla and he was trying to introduce him to the family when suddenly the huge male charges out of nowhere and is very mad about the new baby and grabs it and runs back into the forest! Crazy stuff and very fascinating to watch. I’m not sure what happened to the baby gorilla tho. Anyway, this video is not accurate and seems like it was just thrown together to attract viewers without putting any effort into the truth.
