That 6ers record was indeed broken by the 2012 Bobcats in terms of win percentage. 7/66 vs 9/82, which work out to 10.6% and about 11%, so they clinched the title of worst regular season record by about 0.4%. Practically it's hard to say whether it should matter, since 10.6% of 82 is about 8.7, which is most likely a 9 win team anyway.
