I just finished the base 165/165 for 151. It was a huge step in my just recent love for collecting. Its amazing that you do 2 master sets for both 151 and now this! Great vids!

Yeah I do the base numbers in the sets. Not the master set, these guys on another level. I felt like i accomplished the world with 165/165. And that's not even with the reverse holos 😂😂

hit rates being that low is rough especially with the size of the set. guess it backs to gambling like in sword and shield sets

I completly agree with you, I usually buy a single etb to minimize the doubles, then I buy singles.Sometimes I need to do a special video for my channel like... fake booster.. that's when I'm searching for specific booster. I already preordered the etb, but I guess next week will be here...

I've only opened 6 packs so far and got 1 double banger and my buddy got a double banger too so they still exist unless the 2 double bangers I've witnessed were both error packs 🤷

Nerfed pull rates , is a good thing for the value of the cards. And the value of the booster box long term. There is like 20,000 cards worth less than a dollar , i think its fine to actually have some cards that are worth something, and hard to pull. Rare = hard to pull Its sad to see full art cards worth less than $1 bceuase they are soo common to pull.

I was watching your video yesterday, while opening my own booster box, and the MOMENT you said you were missing the IR Whimpod, I pulled it, it was kind of spooky. Also had a funny moment of getting both Flittles in reverse holo in the same pack; although I'm kind of miffed I didn't get a single SIR in my box. While I'm glad to know I'm not alone on that, that sucks.

We'll see how it goes. I've managed to pull Mela SIR from B&B box, and today ETB gave ma Altaria ex SIR and Parasol Lady FA. I'm so happy I've pulled that big blue bird, my no.1 chase card in this set!

What I'm seeing is that you make money on booster boxes. You can get them for under $100 and almost all of the boxes were over $100 and some well over $100. So while the pull rates for IRs is down the value you get is actually up because of the size of the sets. It also bodes well for opening this set well into the future. This will be a super fun set to open up for a while like some of the sword and shield sets.

I got my hands on three packs fresh from a booster box and pulled the SIR Iron Valiant on... Wednesday I think it was. I ALWAYS get crazy luck from that store!!

I'm still missing Vensaur/Erika's SIR from my 151. Haven't even gotten any Rift in so I can't imagine already being almost complete with it.

End of the day, Pokemon company is a business with the goal of making money so it's no surprise they "slowed" the pull rates down with this set. I believe the double banger pack concept was a trial to see what kind of effect it would have on sales and they were losing money because people were mastering sets quickly thus preventing them from buying more product for those sets and LGS's were also sitting on product that ultimately wouldn't sell. I mean u can walk into ANY store and there is SO much product from the first 3 SV sets that never moves and Pokemon responded by changing their pull rate format.

Opened two PC Etbs, booster bundle and a booster box! Best hits were from the PC etbs, got the Tapu koko and Altaria SIRs!

Not sure how I feel about the disappearance of the double banger. The pull rates for the other sets seemed like they were hitting a very solid sweet spot and this change might make it slip back towards the frustrating side of rates for me...we'll have to see!

Double hits do exist in this set, it's just not as frequent as other sets. Personal luck will vary.

Have only opened one Booster Bundle so far and got 4 hits out of 6 packs. Two regular EXs, one Illustration Rare (Porygon-Z), and one Full Art (Aegislash). Thought that was pretty good!!
