@@shakawashingtoniii9998 I'm not a lawyer, so I don't understand. If the conviction is overturned, why wouldn't they be released. And if they were consecutive, how would that allow them to be released? Also, a lot of time when they are seeking life without parole, or death, they won't try all the cases, just the ones they feel have the best chance of conviction. If those got overturned, they'd still have the untried cases.
