Mam sum times there will give you good will value . Example... Geetha share of goodwill. goodwill of the firm is valued at 45000 as per as 26 What we need to do

Goodwill of the whole firm is given right? first you need to calculate Geeta's share in that goodwill. means multiply her share to firm's goodwill. Geeta is died right?? so her share of goodwill will be given to her executors and thus it will be shown in Capital a/c or executors a/c credit side. But as per AS 26, you should not open goodwill a/c. Hence her share of goodwill will be given by remaining partners by sharing in their gain ratio. so entry would be : By (Remaining partner 1)'s a/c ₹___ By (Remaining partner 1)'s a/c ₹___ distribute her share of goodwill in gain ratio

if question given like his/her share of Goodwill ₹12000 (as per AS26)in partner deceased A/c. how can solve this madam??

you just distribute his share of goodwill in gain ratio to old partners.... if goodwill value of the firm is given, then we need to multiply Deceased partner share and then we will distribute that amount to old partners capital in gain ratio.... but if they have given his sgare of goodwill directly, then first step is not needed... directly we can distribute that amount in gain ratio 👍
