This was VERY HELPFUL. I used to use rubber stamps and ink a lot. Then I recently noticed that the ink world has changed and stencils have improved. Thank you for giving so much information so quickly and efficiently. I learned a ton.

I am hand cutting my stencils lately out of ordinary tag . I am using acrylic paint which water proofs the stencils . I am using a tightly woven foam roller intended for trim in house painting. I save the paint soaked rollers in plastic bags, I then place in a larger bag , so I can reuse them based on the colors ...So far this idea of saving the removable sponge part of the roller in plastic bags is working and keeping them damp with paint ..I do not use any water for transparent work i use matte medium ..I am working with full page images of leaf varieties for my own identification purposes ..It is quiet the learning experience . Loved it! So many ideas here. I also have a Crayola art spray gun and would love to see what I could do with that. I use it with stencils, but sometimes cannot think of more creative ways to use it. It uses the Pipsqueak markers.

Hello JD! Wow this video was AMAZING to watch! You showed so many different ways to use stencils! I didn't know that there were layered stencils! Like the one you did with the layering affect for the flowers! That turned out gorgeous! I am completely new to card making! I found this video well done, inspirational, yet practical and pleasant to watch. Kudos! Recently I've been using gel plates for monoprinting and I've picked up a good collection of stencils. I really appreciate the instruction on how to use them beyond gel printing.
