Not the best player but I am experienced, I would suggest a few 1. This one is pretty common but I've stumbled upon a few people that don't do this, always carry some ammo and accessories for a gun you really want, for example let's say you are playing with a UMP9 and an AKM but you're really banking on getting an M416 or a Vector, well carry about enough ammo for one or two mags and let's say you run into the butt for said weapon, then take it in case you happen to find that weapon you're ready to use it, same goes for carrying cheek pads for sniper rifles if you're hoping to run one even if you don't have one yet. 2. Know which grips are best for your weapons. It is super important to learn which grips can benefit your fights more depending on what weapons you are running, say you're using an SKS and a Scar-L or M416, it's usually best to use a vertical grip or a light grip on the SKS and run something like a thumb grip on the M416, or let's say you're using an AKM and a Scar-L, and you're using the AKM for your close encounters and the Scar-L as a sniper rifle, then put a vertical or light grip on your Scar and carry a half grip or thumb grip in case you happen to find an SKS or mutant so you can use your vertical grip on what you're using to snipe and you still have a backup grip to start using your Scar as an AR again, learn which grip goes best with which weapon. 3. Know when to ditch the backpack. This is something that is rarely ever required and even more rarely done, if you happen to have very bad timing or luck in the end game of a match and you find yourself in a very bad position, you will sometimes be better off ditching most of your belongings, this is very very rare to have to do this but when you do it can potentially help you win or hang on longer, dump all the things you won't need in the end game and finally ditch the bag so you carry your essentials and reduce your chance of being seen, this doesn't apply when you're wearing a ghillie suit since your backpack is not visible. 4. DO NOT ditch a flash hider/compensator when you find a suppressor. It is EXTREMELY common to find players that run a flash hider or compensator and drop it when they find a suppressor to replace them, it is always better to carry them in your bag for the end game, a suppressor is only good in the early and mid-late game but at the end you will be better off using a flash hider or preferably a compensator since in the last reduction or so the suppressor becomes obsolete and I would only really suggest keeping it on if for whatever reason you're running an SMG still since SMGs barely have any recoil generally

Over looting does help when you're in non stop gun fights since you need as much as you can before the next person comes. Also for each map and the clothes you need to wear when you're playing: Erengale, black shirt, mask, hat, brown pants, and black shoes. Sanhok, black only. Miranmar, brown. Vikendi, white or brown.

The killfeed combined with audio is extremely important. Not only can you figure out what guns your opponent may have, but by watching names you can realize when someone gets third partied, or is likely to be using meds after getting a kill or two. Also, as circles get smaller you can start to use it to locate enemies even when you dont hear and bullets: if you know the general range you can hear gunfire and the circles are small enough, you can surmise that if people are dying on the kill feed and you cant hear bullets, then they must be on the clear other side of circle.

A good tip for a firefight inside a house is leave a door open to a room to drop into for cover if needed. Especially rooms at the tops of a staircase.

Molotov for crowd control: if you're upstairs with a knocked teammate you can use a molotov to block the stairs so they cannot rush you. You can revive safely and heal up before the molotov wears out. In a team, all players should drive their own vehicle. They can provide extra cover (beware they can explode if you camp too long) and everyone increases their driving skills except for the designated driver every game! Parachute/Land on the correct size town/compound. Being in squads you have to go for the big cities as for solo you can make do with some small encampments. Mainly you need a good main weapon and some armor/heals to get you started. Make a kill on someone else and gather their loot is the best way to increase your inventory. On a side note: Dont take 400 bullets with you. It will encumber your inventory space and limits the room for other nessesary items. Dont be afraid of a gunfight. Just start a game with the mindset of just hotdropping and looking for the action and go for it. If you tend to land somewhere safe and spend 10 minutes looting the finest gear when it comes down to an actual gunfight you're not warmed up or not very used to being pressured and most likely get killed anyway. Do quick matches and get the experience. Alt: look around you. Control: Sneaking around is very useful (see skyrim) -This is known- If you hate the 2x and 3x scopes.. get over yourself and use them if you find them and get used to them. Everyone preffers the red dot and 4x scope but theyre not always there to come by so you have to make due with what you get/find. Also in squads you tend to be liked if you want to swap out your 4x for their 3x and they'll be none the wiser for your experience gathering playstyle. Compensator = better than a silencer for automatic weapons. I know, once you find a silencer you'll slap it on because it looks sick and gives you the feeling of being OP but the compensator makes alot of weapons so much better! AKM and Beryl or SCAR-L function so much better with it. Just try it out; and dont forget to swap with your teammates, they like that kinda stuff.

Something I did is in the sanhok map, there's a little island, I go there way too often (yes, come kill me) and if I have a flare, I throw it in while being in the water or on the island. Because you have to come to me and while coming, you're in the water what means you can't defend yourself or hurt me. So yeah, use the flare gun close to water guys, it works

If anything being aggressive helps. If you can freak out your opponent and make them feel like you’re constantly on top of them, it’ll be easier to sneak up and pop a cap in the back of their head, especially if their camping.

Playing passive on the endgame works too... Generally everyone has great gear during the endgame so being aggressive makes you prone to hit a crossfire or even get ganged up... So play passive until there's only 4 to 5 players

On Mobile, it’s very easy to loot and run at the same time if you practice. So if you’re playing on mobile and you’re in the early game, loot and run so you don’t waste anytime.
