Today I felt so inferior and there are things I did more than 20 years ago and I struggle to forgive myself. I put my tree up the weekend after Thanksgiving and I do plan on downsizing I have been downsizing since July and I am totally downsizing Furniture kitchen table, 8:10 and chairs, and then smaller appliances along with pots and pan I was very lucky. I found a lady that was unfortunate. She was in a bad situation and moved to a safe home and I have given her a lot a few things to set up her home her kitchen her pictures on the walls cause she love my beachy pictures that I had and I just shared away and she was able to set up a new home and peaceful for herself, but also a lot and I am going to continue that till the end of the year. Thanks for all your guidance.

Thank you for this list, Gwen. When we cleaned my in-law’s home I threw out spices so old, they were in the Mccormick tin can. MIL said she never refilled them, but spices do not expire 😳

I like to enjoy the Thanksgiving season (we host), Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. The week after Thanksgiving all the Christmas decor comes out and the tree goes up. After savoring the holidays I’m always so happy to get back to a pared back home and start planning for summer gardens. Thanks for the great video!

We start decorating for the Christmas Season after Thanksgiving. Our sons (and grandchildren) live out of state - too far to travel here and with my husband’s health we can’t travel there BUT we can still do our little bit of Christmas here. I always make my Nana’s recipe for Scottish Shortbread. ❤

You've made many great points. I have scaled my Christmas decorations down to just the tree ornaments plus 2 pieces of decor that have family history. I only allow myself to keep two bins of Christmas stuff and that's it. I've also volunteered to host Christmas this year and what they don't know is I'm having it catered. I do not have the energy to cook a huge Christmas dinner, but I wanted to do something special for the family. You mentioned letting go of sugar, and that is something I am new to in this last month. I'm on a weight loss journey and have substituted berries and plain yogurt instead of sugary treats. It's working out great. I hope you and your family have a wonderful holiday season. I'll be decorating my tree right along with you on Thanksgiving night, too. =)

I would really enjoy seeing what you eat in a day and maybe some holiday recipes. Also how do you organize your wardrobe, do you keep all your clothes in the closet/drawer, year round, or do you store/container for the seasons? Thank You for the list, there's definitely some I should revisit by the end of the year.

I'll write those things down and work on a video. Thank you for asking! The only things I don't keep in my closet year-round are my hanging things. I have room for them because I don't keep that many clothes, but I have an empty closet in the guest room, so I keep them there. I don't want anything in my closet that's not an option-like a sweatshirt in the summer. Thank you for your questions, input and for watching! It means a lot! 💖😊

If you’ve ever watched the 2009 Movie ‘New In Town’ with Reneé Zellweger when the fella takes her hunting he dresses her in Coveralls - it has a zipper in the backside area if you have to go potty and her zipper gets stuck…🥴 it’s a cute movie.
