From #1-20, which lesson helped you most? Let me know what you think!
@jordanreed13254 жыл бұрын
#19 relates to me recently 18:35-19:10 , I nailed $FCEL , I was in @2.53 and out @2.77 I bought the rumor and sold before the news lol! It’s a great lesson though because this morning when the news did come out on their earning the stock tanked from 3.20 all the way down to like 2. UNDERRATED LESSON!!!!!!!! This trade also wiped out all my annoying 5-10-20$ losses , some of which should’ve been wins but work got in the way and that’s ok! Sometimes life gets in the way! Still going strong Tim! See you in ... idk what the number is anymore , we’ll just say like 950. Thanks again -Jordan Reed

Lesson #16- Learn to react, not predict is definitely a good one, some of these stocks can be unpredictable anyway so it’s best to just react to the price action, news, etc

this is the first time i watch your video and is the first time i comment on yt. im a new trader, in the past 12 months i made 40k at start but now im down 40k with less than 2k in the account. my mistake is being an attacker, i traded everyday and many time a day. i knew this is wrong but couldn't control my greed, if i were to take small profit and cut losses i be near the 6 figure mark now. i learnt this the painful way as i was so stress out. i hope others don't make the same mistake i did. your video is the best so far as you summarised in a way everyone can follow and is real practical facts. i don't know if i can turn my 2k back to 40k or not but one thing for sure after watching your vdideo is that im heading back to the right direction. you got my acct together, thank you

I've watched a few of your videos now Tim and you seem really authentic. As for your question about which lesson helped the most. It's tough to choose 1 out of 20 so top 3 Lesson 9 Rule #1 Cut losses Quickly Lesson 6 This is a battlefield, arm yourself with education Lesson 17 Take a little something from every successful (and fully transparent trader & investor).... Thank you for the guidance Tim!

Good video thank you. The best lessons are “learn to react and not predict the market” and “Give back”. This is very true, most cases when I tried to use what I got from my old learned patterns or what I think should happen from the news, it back fires on me, now I go with the flow. As for giving back, this is a mystery, but also very true. If you give back to other people what you have, is it your knowledge or money, you always get back a double portion of what you have given in cash or kind, it’s the law of nature. How it works or why that is? No one knows😶, just give back, and avoid being selfish or you will lose it all.

I am a rule keeper. However I don't even know where to begin. I'm overwhelmed with excitement and enthusiasm. I am not stuck in my ways. I am a very opened minded person. I just need direction. I appreciate you being honest, upfront and bold. I just need to get started. I have enough to start my marathon. I can see the trends, I can follow directions well. I can follow good stocks but I don't even know where to purchase these stocks. Do I need a separate bank account or where do I start with what kind of account. I don't know how I found you but I sure do appreciate your leadership. As a retired pastor I know the value of following the person that is leading. All of them are important to learn and live by, but if I was to choose one that stood out it would be #3. #3 helps cultivate patients and being in the right mindset when trading. Waiting for the best setups is better than trading for the sake of trading and taking a loss. #12 speaks to the importance of trading with 3 accounts (Financial, Knowledge, Experience) (pg61-63) Preparation! Learn from each trade/strategy!

Sorry Tim, but I NEED all these lessons to make me a better trader! The lessons that I am failing at right now are #9 Cut Losses Quickly and #2 Trading like a "Retired" Trader. I trade too much and I force trades in "hope" of making money! I need to trade ONLY when the set up is right!

@@TimothySykesTrader Hi Tim, I do trade. And lost money for years..........then I had the aha moment. ( mine was trade against the loser..............nothing to do with charts. I'm now consistent. Realised trading is 99% mental ( to master trading......first master thyself) Most of OUR Thoughts are delusional...........certainly in trading. Those thoughts which we hold so dearly......are nothing to do with how we are going to profit!!!

It happened to me. I always trade just opening one hour. The longer i wait in market , i lose. So i made a new rule to myself. Trade 1 hour . If i m wrong , just get out and fight another day. There is less stress in one hour. Many times i lost just because of greed . I am just jammed to my screen and i hate it. I just trade stocks now that are in full play or in momentum. I feel that trading is 70% discipline and 30 percent skill.

I got the most value out of the safety lesson. It is just my nature to stick my chin out to tempt fate, then in the natural world it ain't pretty for the baited. In stocks I believe you that it will not pay to stick a chin out, at all. A 10% success rate is not a big pad to land a large bird on but you have one there and that is no mistake. I was not blessed with a photographic memory as you were but I can outwork most of them and that would in this case be learning and following a plan. Make a plan follow the plan. Easy. Patience is the part that is not quite so easily done when one is hungry. Anyway congrats on beating, no, learning and employing the system to, in effect, beat the (6 to 6) system.
