I misread one question. It read, what country is the largest (by area). I thought it read what country is the largest (by DRY area).😂

I only got that question right because I had read the Missouri was longer in a book a couple of books ago. But I remember being taught that the Mississippi was longer when I was in grade school. (Waaaaay back in the 1960s.) I guess they remeasured both rivers since then.

The Statue of Liberty was actually designed by a French sculptor named Bartholdi. The inner structure was added by Eiffel.

Not odd at all. Did you know that most kids today do not receive much education about history at all? Not even American history. My daughter took her GED test two years ago, and got a high score because they asked a few questions about American history that she knew the answers to because of watching PBS and listening to me talk about being in New England during the Bi-centennial celebrations in 76.

19/20 .... FYI while Eiffel did build the framework for the statue of liberty. It was Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi created the sculpture... other word the actual lady.

Re: item 8: Benedict Arnold did not go to the UK immediately following the American Rerevolution. He settled in the new Loyalist city of Saint John, in what is now New Brunswick in Canada. He ticked everyone off there, though, and was "invited" to leave.

Me too! But actually knew that Alaska is the largest State by area, because I've got relatives that live in Texas, and they talk about Texas not wanting Alaska to join the Union because they'd no longer be the largest State in the Union. It was disproved almost fast as I learned it.
