TV Chart is pretty awesome! Cool little toy to see how our favorite TV shows did over time. WOW! Classic Doctor Who's rating average, according to the trend line, held steady at 7.5 all through its run! That's pretty awesome. And understandable - was always a great show. If only I could afford to get BritBox or the BritBox Amazon Prime Channel on a regular basis, so I could binge it hardcore! However, the New Who started to drop off pretty sharply, starting the first season of Jodie Whittaker's run (11th) the lowest of any season premiere - the rest of the season and the 12th being the lowest on average. Also not too hard to judge why - the idea of a female Doctor in general was pretty controversial, and indeed the lowest-ratest episode in New Who so far has been one in the 12th season. Thanks for this list, Gumbo! Great stuff. Will check these out when I have time. Take care!
