20 Vintage Adidas Tracksuits 1970s-1990s

A run through 20 Adidas tracksuits from the middle 1970s to 1990, and a note of the labels present and the changes in style over this period.....some 30 years ago. Love it or loath it, branded clothing is an aspect of our culture these last 50 years, and one worth recording for that reason, like anything else.

I have 2010s Adidas Firebird in black, made in Phillipines. It has trefoil logo without word Adidas under it and 3 stripes full length on sleeves and legs. I bought it in size 2XL and it is my go to outfit. I have Pureboost 22 sneakers to pair with it.

Fantastic. Thank you for showing us. I think the Colorado you showed us at 06:44 was made in West Germany. The Colrorados made by Peter Black (up in Keighley) were made from Nylon and Triacetate and had a Chrome YKK Adidas Zip tag.

Hi, I am no expert, but I think this will usually indicate something from the 1970s. I have seen quite a few genuine adidas track tops with only stripes and no logo, but a neck tag.
