For the money the superdual x is hard to beat, brembo brakes , husski engine and built in the old KTM /Husski factory

Try and find a used TW200 for a decent price. Ten year old bikes usually sell for more than when the bike was new. Even in the recession dealers have zero problem selling the little putt putt!

KTM, they have a full years' worth of bikes sitting that they haven't sold. I had a 2018 690 set up for desert racing I recently sold. Great bikes but nobody is buying.

I can see the argument for FI and modern electronics (at least be able to charge a phone) but adding ABS would make it lose reliability a lot if the thing goes offroad/mudding. I'd say reliability, easy to work on, and price will win a lot more people imho.

I want a Honda SL 350, simple, reliable and hard to bend, twist or break. Actually I broke a few things on mine, to be expected riding like I used to. No bike is perfect but there's a lot of two wheeled ugly trying to get sold. Maybe bring back style and simplicity. And affordability. Bike sales are in for it soon.

The Ural is way overpriced. It can be overhauled right from off the shelf. We used to put VW Beetle pistons in them before they hit the road.

@@larrynorsworthy8582 They moved the factory to Kazakhstan which is part of Asia. With the sanctions with Russia, they moved out of Russia so that they can continue to export the bikes. I had a 2019 Ural Gear Up. I took 2 trips that were over 800 miles, the bike did good and averaged 42mpg.

Kawasaki X300 Versys is one of the best bikes to do the Americas on, huge amount of accessories, big tank,uber reliable, and economical...it'll take you further than certain orange Austrians
