HHP was way more progressive and wholly ahead of its time. India as a society was about to undergo some deep change back then in 1998. The show puts out those matters which were to become a part of aspiring middle class discourse in 20-odd years. And it does so all the while maintaining the desired maturity to deal with teenage subjects, without letting go of the innocence required in portraying the most unadelteredly beautiful phase of our lives, our late teens. I was maybe too young to watch it back then when it was first telecast, I discovered it only in 2016. What I felt for the characters was one purest emotion. Maybe I was experiencing the feelings that were put in hold for quite a time,and were thus unfamiliar to me. I have my deepest admiration for the cast, but Meera I loved the most. God bless all of them and God bless the maker.🙏❤️

I was introduced to this show around 2010, when Disney India started to air it. I could only watch last few episodes. But i loved it. I'm still not familiar with it, someday i'll make time to watch it properly. I was born in 97 otherwise it's definitely what i would have liked watching growing up instead of mind-numbing tv -shows these days which mostly focuses on romance.

When I say 'I miss the 90's' the first thing that comes up to my mind is Hip Hip Hurray. That show was way ahead of its time, I still watch it and it still feels so refreshing. Those were the days. I remember I was in 7th std when I watched this serious and most amazing part of this series was I never felt it was shooted, felt like there is a school college somewhere in real-time stories happening. Now I am qualified working person but I have downloaded all the episodes and now whenever i m low in life I go on watch those episodes and remember my schools and college days .. I loved Peeya as Kiran the most, very bubbly, Tom boy and very naturally pulled the character, having said this I must say that all actors were amazing, the show had sensitivity, simplicity and connected directly to the heart. Hip hip hurray! Mehul Sir right now I will catch up the 15th episode. I started watching it from yesterday. Because I just got to know about it a month or two back. I needed to be in the proper mood to watch the romantic high school drama. Feels I am 17 now. I was six months old when this show aired for the first time. Wonder how I didn't know of this gold mine! Purab, Zafar, vishal, samantha, salve, rushad looks the same, so do u. Vinay pathak's best role was this one. Holy moly. Its been 20 years. Love from Nepal to the cast. This was our favorite tv series when we were in school back in the days. I still remember the names of all the cast. The next day in school after the show, we would be chit chatting about the show in classrooms. Everyone had their favorites. We don't have such series anymore. Nostalgic after a long time. I love this show and I am grateful to the makers and everybody who made it possible to be viewed on KZbin 💖☺️☺️ Finally when you all are here together once again, I would like to share something related to this show that happened to me! ✨Something magical happened with me.✨ **SPOILER ALERT** I was maybe 4 or 5yrs old when this show used to air on TV. So I didn't know much about this show. Then one day, I was reading an online article about "90s famous TV Shows" that had Hip Hip Hurray in the list. I made up my mind to watch it as it seemed interesting to me. I started binge-watching it on KZbin. Here comes the magical part: When I was watching the last episode where Alakananda Ma'am & Vinnie Sir's daughter is getting ready to attend the last day of school & they are remembering about this batch, I realized that it is the year 2017 (their baby was born in the year 2000, so if she started going to school in 2003, then 2yrs of KG + 12 years of school = year 2017!!!) I actually started watching the show in Feb2017 and completed it in March 2017. Such a surprising and magical moment for me ✨✨ I was watching the last episode at the correct time.✨✨ It's the year March 2017 in the show as well as in real time 😍😍😍😍 I was already crying because the show was ending and now I again had tears in my eyes when I realized this🥺😍😍💖💖💖
