Hey bandit, gotta point this out, there is exactly 1 Shiekah you overlooked in Twilight Princess. That's Impaz of the hidden village. There's almost none of them but they still exist and the fact that she has the ancient sky book as a relic of the hylian royal family doubles down on our proof for the Shiekah connection.

Search Hyrule maps i m g u r post from the 10th of March 2015. It's by far the best theory I've come across for how the land changes over the eras and may explain the multiple volcanoes. It's also based on the continent you can see from the Palace of Winds from MC. I would post a link but then yt would delete the comment.

I'm sorry, I thought it was pretty much agreed the Castle Town from OoT got wrecked during the war with Ganondorf before his banishment and that the Sacred Grove is the town's ruins, that's why you find the original Temple of Time and the old Castletown fountain there. TP's Castle Town is "new construction" that occurred in the time gap.
@JurisBlade3 сағат бұрын
It's hard to rule anything out when it's about the layout of Hyrule, but if Castle Town was destroyed between the "Child" era of Ocarina of Time and whenever Ganondorf was captured, I don't see how people would know that and agree upon it. If the Sacred Grove is the same location as the old Castle Town and the Temple of Time, every other landmark in Hyrule must have moved drastically during that century or two. Not just Hyrule Castle itself, but also Lake Hylia and Death Mountain.

Malo got his mits on the armor by buying out the previous store. The question is where that jerk got it from
@Kazooples11 сағат бұрын
My theory/headcanon for the missing Kokiri is they are there, but they’re either hiding during this time of crisis, or they literally can’t be seen by adults anymore for their own protection, or maybe they just can’t be seen by anyone other than kokiris, to keep them safe, like I would assume the only reason monsters came to kokiri forest in OoT was because the Great Deku Tree was dead, but in Twilight Princess the new Deku Tree would be alive and well and protecting his fairy kids.

The "shadow folk", the Sheikah, could probably accomplish the same thing, if they wanted to. Communities that are very good at being invisible could easily still be around without us realizing it. (People have mentioned Impaz, and I agree, but the point stands. An abandoned town and a sole "survivor" would make a good cover for a group of people who are in hiding.)

I have a very simple head-canon to the Temple of Time being so far away from Castle Town: my theory is that following Ganondorf’s attempted invasion of Hyrule, the castle and accompanying town may have been badly damaged in the battle and abandoned, with a new castle and new town built in a new location with the Lost Woods expanding and reclaiming the environment around the old Castle Town and the Temple of Time.

1.If you play twilight Princess in german it is confirmed that the Zora armor as seen in TP Was meant to be made for the hero of time. 2.The kokiri tribes probably died because the deku trees protection Was no longer a thing since the deku trees sprout did not grow in this timeline. 3.There is a high probabiloty the shiekah also went extinkt after impa was the last living member in Oot, besides that I can imagine impaz who is living in the obviously previos place called kakariko to be the New last of the shiekah. 4.The gerudo have probably been slaughtered in the war to capture Ganondorf as they probably would have been loyal to him as their King.

I think we're overthinking the magic armor a little bit. Malo got his hands on it because he bought the store that already had. Chudley's Fine Goods and Fancy Trinkets Emporium. And the armor has the description "Armor for the richest and most prestigious customers who value their lives over their rupee". It's pretty cut and dry. Chudley had a fancy suit of armor made, with the intention of selling it to someone rich. Like...that's it. That's generally how shops work.

I'm glad im not the only one wondering about the Zoras lol, with BoTW giving them elf life spans, it should actually be very possible for OoT era Zoras to still be alive in TP, in fact Rutella could easly be Rutos daughter or grand daughter at the very least. You'd think atleast one of them wouldve recognized Links descendant, its not like there are allot of Hylians walking where that specific kind of tunic, even some of the NPCs think his clothing is weird/outdated.
@jeremycaswell3 минут бұрын
So i just had a thought. In the old games, ruaru, the temple of time, the sheikah, everything we know is incredibly old, most likely thousands of years old, with each game having ruins and lingering aspects of previously built structures, old characters, names, and landmarks right? We know with Tears of the Kingdom that kind of got thrown out with the new lore that we're directly told, despite there STILL being remnants of old relics left behind in BOTW and ToTk, such as the mirror of twilight, signifiying that all the old games did still in fact happen despite new lore. So, my theory is that the entire kingdom of hyrule, and the surrounding lands are stuck in a timeloop, but not a normal one lile groundhog day. I think their stuck in the same series of events over and over, with slight differences each time. Twice we've seen ganondorf trick the king of hyrule, we have two raurus, and we know Fi is still alive in some form inside the mastersword, we've heard as much in the memories from BoTW and in ToTk when the sword breaks. So the way i see it, yeah the world is cursed to repeat itself the same way Link, Ganon and Zelda are, the same framework with different small details. Sidenote, i hope they bring back old characters someday. Not like old humans, but i mean like maybe Fi or Midna. The Twilight has no concept of time, so it would be interesting to see her return and grapple with the knowledge that her lost lover has passed centuries, or even millennia ago without her knowledge. Hell she could be the first sympathetic villain we have, with her anguish over the loss of her link causing her to spread the Twilight in an attempt to somehow bring back her own Link. Or with Fi, we could play as another Link not tethered to the Goddess' legacy like in Wind Waker, with this Link being a scavenger or something, finding the old, worn out master sword and cleaning and repairing it over time, somehow releasing Fi. I mean we know Fi started as a sort of living computer, so maybe a directive to somehow repair the sword could cause her to awaken, and have to deal with the world and people she knew being long gone. Maybe we could explore and sift through the ruins and relics of old Eras, maybe come upon small shards of broken, nearly powerless timeshift stones at the proverbial bottom of the world, the oldest evidence of what once was. Maybe it would flicker and open to reveal an old, frail zelda from skyward sword one final time. Just some thoughts lol
@a.g78912 сағат бұрын
What if there aren't actual human-like Kokiri? What if they've always been koroks? Link was sent to live with the Deku tree and the koroks. But the deku tree felt like Link would feel lonely living with little plant creatures, so he assigned a fairy to follow the koroks around using magic to make the koroks look like kids. That's why Link didn't have a fairy. He didn't need one, he was a kid. Thoughts?

I always had this theory that Rusl was a Shieka. in fantasy lore, ESPECIALLY the lore they used to make twilight princess. kings would sometimes send out knights/agents into regions to mingle, have lives and report back to what happens there, denouncing their knighthood or, in this case, the shieka. this could have happened after the old kokiri town was abandoned, what better way to spread agents than during a mass migration? this might also explain the reason why the gerudo are gone, in reality they ARE NOT GONE. just look at BOTW where the arbiters ground is. its way to north from the gerudo town as we know it. which is strange because they WERE close in ocarina of time. my theory, they were only close BECAUSE of ganondolfs involvement and after he was gone they returned back to their main city in the desert. the way we get into the desert is strange as well, we go there, not by road, but by CANNON. either the gerudo destroyed the path getting in there and stayed as far away as possible due to Ganon's acts OR WE ARE JUST NOWHERE NEAR where they are due to our position. we already know in ocarina of time that traveling there requires help. i also have one mystery that no one seems to go around and thats the temple of time we get inside of Twilight princess. I do not think this temple is actually real, that was my first instinct all those years ago when I went in, and now, I think the same.something about that temple makes it seem fake. for example how they could move such a large statue without the proper tools all through it? and what most of its purpose was? in the other temples there WAS a purpose for each room, but there.... it was nothing? hell it is SUGGESTED that the door goes back in time.... but is that actually true? that entire temple is a mystery upon itself, from the moment you walk in and the moment you explore the actual dungeon inside, it all screams like it is not supposed to be there. my theory is, is that the temple of time, and its concept, is still that small church on the hill, in both Ocarina of time and BOTW. but that in twilight princess it was some sort of internal dungeon, fake, a test. or... when they wanted to design the dungeon, they FIRST wanted to use the lost woods portion of the game, where you see the ruins, to overlap, and maybe come and switch in time to move the puzzles around. but because that was to complex at the time, they settled on a long temple and only the portion back in time instead. like the whole "place your sword inside to open something" feels like something that should have returned more often as a concept in the game? even the first portion with the skullkid and the statues, feeeeeeels like a tutorial to that place? it is also strange how to get INTO the temple, you go UP some stairs straight into a window? that doesn't make sense at all? it would have made more sense to go BACK the way you were. it is really confusing? if I would have designed it, I would have designed some abandoned village with the temple attached on it and you actually go back and forth between time. changing the past and then go to the future to FIX the temple of time. but this might have made the map VERY complicated based on WHAT you do in the past and a possible reason why it could not have been implimented. but imagine going through destroyed ruins and then, in the future by placing your sword in the village square, straight to the past and move some things around to then go back and see a whole new area to explore. instead of a liniar temple with a spider at the end?
