I purchased my Volcano Digit back in 2008. It followed me from the east coast of the USA to the west coast. I was a technician building haptic devices used in the surgical training industry. Later, I moved to actual surgical manufacturing machinery. I sat shoulder to shoulder with brilliant mechanical engineers and discovered I had always had an absolutely obsessive drive for quality. Looking at the Volcano, I’m still struck by what an amazing device it is and just how beautiful I find both the design and workmanship. These are built with true obsessive quality! S**t happens and recently, my Volcano fell from a height causing some rather nasty but likely repairable damage. After sending it in to the folks at the Oakland location expecting to hear a rather pricey quote for repair, I found a brand new replacement at my door free of charge! As I’m used to working in an industry where every last penny is extracted from the customer (or their insurance) in a sickening way, I’m almost restored by the selfless feat of customer service I received from S & B. My god, I wish I could work for these folks. Watching this video and seeing the humble beginnings makes me wish I was alongside for the ride, workbench and tools in hand. Bravo!

Wow thank you for your shared experience man I completely agree its amazing product I was amazing just opening. I have a thing with smells I had chemical smells off of new producs mainly like China but this was so clean I literally smelt bothing off of any of the accessories. the metal off of the volcano yeah just cause its real metal. But everything else definitely clean super impressed and blessed to have such a beautiful device. Their not lieing about medical certificated

I love my digital Volcano so much when I purchased my first one in 2006 I contacted Anvil Case Company and had a custom travel case made with a TSA lock on it. I purchased another in 2013 and it sat protected for 5 years while I was misadvised by a Cardiologist that I MUST stop using medicinal cannabis. Well I am glad to say I am cleared by my doctors again to use my medical cannabis to help relieve my medical problems. Thank you for creating such a great quality piece of German Engineering! I’m relatively new to the vaping world..i have one year since i discovered the crafty+..i use cannabis but I hate smoking(combusting) it was very unpleasant to smoke and the taste is horrible…and nobody told me there is a way to enjoy cannabis without smoking..until I discovered the storz&bickle crafty+…love at first hit…even do i used a hole nug without grinding just ripped a piece of cannabis and jammed in the chamber power button waiting for one minute and hitting it…the taste was amazing I didn’t know that cannabis taste so good!!!now i have the crafty+ and the mighty+ and I love them so much.. god job mr. Thank you for your amazing products, i use the Volcano Hybrid and Mighty+ and i completely love them both. My orthopaedic surgeons told me i have to stop smoking so no tobacco in my joints. I applied to get medical cannabis and my clinic recommended your products, at first i saw and i was like they're so expensive. Finally went in and bought the Volcano and it was truly amazing! It allows me to take my medical cannabis through inhalation rather than combustion (smoking it in a joint)

@@HuheJass Yeah it's truly great. Yeah I have not even tried it without the dos. caps. I got 10 of them and I fill them up and ready to go. Makes everything much easier to clean. Even if the + comes out, don't feel bad. I predict that the only differences will be: USB type C charging, phone app and slightly less heat up time. Just a prediction.

ich habe den Vulkano seit ca 2011. Er läuft wie geschmiert. Nach all den Jahren werde ich mir jetzt mal einen Mighty gönnen. es gibt jedoch etwas zu bemängeln: und zwar finde ich es äußerst schwierig das Gerät nachhaltig zu säubern, daher habe ich meinen Volkano in all den Jahren nicht gereinigt. Evtl ließe sich die Reinigung vereinfachen indem (noch) weniger Teile verbaut werden, weniger Ritzen existieren in die der Schmand einziehen kann. Außerdem solltet ihr das Torx-Werkzeug zum öffnen mitliefern oder eine gängigere Schraube verwenden; ich finde es suboptimal das einzeln nachbestellen zu müssen. Hoffentlich kommt die Legalisierung bald

SO Happy for the Mighty+ announcement thrown in there! I hope at most it has easily replaceable 18650 batteries, quicker heat up times, phone connectivity with temp profiles, etc. Also hopefully I can try concentrates in it and feel safe about it. I never have with my current Mighty because of what I hear from others about having issues with their devices after.

Don't get your hopes up on removable batteries. I am hyped though for the better heater though with the spiral airflow and perhaps a screen that won't get damaged by being in the sun.

@@rrittenhouse Yeah I think it will be 90% the same. What we've seen is they like to do little tweaks to internals but not drastic design changes which would require retooling their manufacturing line JUST for new products. If they keep most the same but put in say, different battery, different air path, and better firmware to heat up faster than most if not everything else will stay the same. I am in love with my OG Crafty all over again after I swapped the battery on it and it lead me to buy my Volcano Hybrid which I really love. Will probably get the mighty + next year to go on long hikes with my wife which the Crafty always had a hard time doing. Cheers!
