JXSHH calm down Donald trump. A homeless person is unable to secure employment due to having no fixed abode, they can not fix an abode without the rent and deposit... they need a job to pay rent, and like mentioned at the beginning of the comment they need an address to secure the job. You see where this is going? Numbskull. It's an impossible situation and a vicious cycle to break. Unless you've been homeless, I suggest you stop talking shit.

I'm not the person to cry over things, but I always find myself tearing up when I watch these types of videos. It's so sad. These people are thrown to the side with nothing, and nobody cares about them. It's a shame that it's what society has come to.

+Victor Velasquez I feel EXACTLY the same thing each time I'm walking in the city, I see people don't give a single fuck about these PEOPLE, each time I'm passing those homeless guys, I'm feeling like I'm a rich fucker that don't give a shit about helping others.. Sure, I don't want to give them only 2 euros, they can't eat anything with that, I want to give them waaaay more, like 50, 20 or even 100 :( This is sad how people are selfish as fuck these days. I don't care about what they're going to do with this money, It's their, after all. I gave it to them.

:) thanks but I should be thanking my dad and my stepmom really. I was only 10 around that time (I'm 17 and a half now) and thank God I had my brothers to keep me company and keep me from frowning. My mom was the main reason for our situation. And when I was younger I didn't really have power or the guts to stand up for myself. But while we going through all this, we've had tons of life lessons and we also have grown a better understanding for people who are more unfortunate than others. Don't ever condemn the homeless for being homeless. Because in some cases it is not their fault. All I'm saying is just keep giving and keep caring :D

A lot of people commenting cannot wrap their heads around the idea that these videos are here to spread a message. It's not just about their selflessness to take the time & help those people. It's about trying to get others like you & me to consider doing things of that nature more often. There wouldn't be homeless people if everyone were willing to help each other. It's sad that in America we just turn our backs on those that barely have the means to survive.

Those people might be homeless, but they are the most grateful people ever. Homelessness is an epidemic in the United States, and they are the most mistreated people in our country. People don't see them, they see through them. These three men did an amazing thing. All they want is to be seen and heard, and that is what those three guys did. This was fantastic.

Some people say that the homeless are just going to buy drugs with the money they get. However I know in can trust some of them because I had a conversation with a homeless man named Eric.He never asks for money and he lost his family to cancer. This shocked me so much, that I donated about $300 to him.I just can't describe the feeling of impacting someone's life in a positive way. No matter the price I'd donate a million dollars(no joke) if can feel the thankfulness and joy of someone.

For those of us who have big houses and nice cars, lets take a look at this and remember that one day whether it was a short while ago or a long time ago our ancestors were not always wealthy. Lets learn from this video, how we can help. You dont have to give all your money away but something like this will make them so happy. Especially those homeless people that have worked so hard and yet get nothing. think for a moment, instead of buying your third rolex, give some of that money to those in need, help em out a bit.

Thank you for what you are doing for the homeless. I tried to start a mini outreach where I live, and I have always said, "Every person at the homeless shelter or on the streets has a story. no one sets out to be homeless. and any one of us could be a few steps away from living without a place to call home." WHAT you're doing is such a blessing, the full effects unknown this side of Heaven. God bless you.

This made me cry. My sister is homeless. The safety net has been eroded in many places, there is very little help for people. I wish everyone could understand how hard it is to help people with mental health problems get off the street. Please do what you can to help the homeless, whether it is by giving time or lobbying government and big business to care for vulnerable people.

No she is not a "failure at life" she is just very mentally ill and is not very easy to help. Menatal illness is not a failure at life, it is mental illness and I try to help her in whatever way I can, but it is not always straightforward when people have severe mental health problems.

+TheDreadfulCurtain I understand & I'm sorry people are speaking to you in such a hateful ignorant way!! I'm sad for people that just assume & think that everyone's like they are. Mental Illness is a difficult struggle. We treat our disabled terribly, the streets & jails are filled with them because most of the places that took care of these people were shut down in the 80's. Don't judge each other be kind. Help each other! And if nothing else at least give them kind words. It can happen to any of us or our loved ones. Stay strong & beautiful & know you are loved & appreciated.

Trust me i know what you mean. I spent 3 years of my life homeless. I was 16 and i am now 19 years old and i finally have my life on track. everyday was a struggle for me because people would point and laugh at me and just, in general, make fun of me saying that i'm homeless because i am a bad guy. I have never done wrong to anyone, it was my family that didn't want me around. It was a hard life, i'll admit, but you also had people that you didnt even know that would give you the cloths off their backs and the food that they could have eaten, just so you can be happy for a little while longer until you return to the same life.

ExoticGaming That's silly, so when you see a man get run over by a car and the police asks you to describe the person who did it, and he happens to be black, you won't mention that little fact? I understand 100% what your'e saying, but don't be ridiculous, we are all one, all the same, yet so very different, and there's nothing wrong with describing someone by the color of their skin. You probably don't see bald people, or fat people, or large and small people either i guess. Don't take this political correctness too far please, it doesn't make sense anymore at a certain point.

This is why I give them money when I can. My parents n bf don't like it cuz they say homeless people miss use it but what counts is the fact that you are genuinely trying to help that counts.

You are doing what you can to help them. What they do with the money is their responsibility. Plus, we shouldn't be so judgemental and prejudicial. Surely looking down on the homeless is worse than trying to help them.

I'm so sad when I see that some people don't realize the purpose of these videos. There's a difference between wanting attention and spreading a message. The last thing these guys want is to make money out of these videos, and even if they do (which they might), I truly believe it's going to everyone except themselves. Much like a disney movie, you can't simply watch one of these videos without a big smile on your face. There's much more than respect in here, there's appreciation and I can truly say I wish someday I'm capable of being half the man these people are.

This is touching and makes me so emotional. I wish more people would put themselves in their shoes and see homelessness as something that is unacceptable when there is NO reason for it. We should take care of the most vulnerable of our society and not ignore this.. These people deserve the world

This is one of the things I just don't get about the USA. How are people okay with their fellow Americans living in the street? Especially the kids ffs! In what world is that acceptable? I mean, it's not like it's in a third world country.. So many people could help them. While times are tough for a lot of people, the vast majority still has a job. Hell, even getting together with the other people on your street and hiring a homeless guy to mow all your lawns or whatever would help. Not an amazing job perhaps, but if you have nothing, everything helps. Apparently it's only "USA! USA! USA!" until someone loses their job and home.. Then it's every person for themselves.. :/

Gonçalo Teixeira Sure, you can find homeless people everywhere. Even here in "socialist Denmark". But there's a huge difference. If you're even *looking* for work (ie. showing up when the social worker finds you something.) you get enough money for a place to live and food to eat. Even if they can't find you a job, you get the money for simply being a 'job seeker'. If you're mentally ill or whatever, you can get help for free as well.. And will get a pension if you're unable to work at all. I can't imagine how you'd end up homeless here unless you want to be. We do have people who are sort of.. Vagabonds.. I guess. They walk around.. Mostly during the warmer half of the year though. A lot of them do have a small apartment for the winter time. Well, I suppose you could simply refuse to work.. Or refuse to even look for work. Then I guess you'd be homeless.. But I would call that by choice as well. I have never seen a homeless kid in my life. Not one. Kids will basically have to hide (or be hidden) to be homeless. If you don't have a family for whatever reason, you will most likely be placed in a foster family, that's heavily controlled by the govt. Not just some random people who signed up. Then they will get money from the govt to help clothe and feed you while you get your free education and are ready for a job. The kind of homeless we see in these videos don't exist everywhere at all.

Gnawer Shreth you are right granwer. I'm from the netherland and i have never seen a homeless child. I have seen a few homeless people but they are basically all drugs accident . they can get free food and places to stay even money from the government. WE have basically same system as yours. if government wont help the homeless family's. other people will, there are tons of organisations who help people in need. I can't believe american's can be proud of them self.

tim the There are homeless children in the United States and I bet that there are homeless children in other countries as well. Homeless women or families with children have first priority when it comes to homeless shelters. Those people in this video probably do have a shelter they go to sleep at night. Most shelters here do not allow people to stay during the day though. There are places that families can go during the day to keep occupied while waiting for the shelters to open back up in the evening. There is also plenty of food to be found in most places and free clothing is available as well. Showers, at least in my town are available to the homeless etc. The most important thing a person can do to help a homeless person is to help them find work or offer them some type of training so that they can find sustainable work. Just sayin'. How do I know any of this? Because I have slept in some strange places and most recently in a tent because I am homeless. Yeah, not fun, but it is what it is.

The only right is to treat people as you want people to treat you.. Ask yourself, if you wont be happy for someone to help you out with some food if you was homeless, im sure the quick answer would be Yes.. dont judge people by their cover, many of them had a hard life, other became homeless when the economic crisis did happen and even more ends up on foodstamps, they too would have been homeless if they didnt have the foodstamps i guess... Help the homeless, it for sure will mean a lot to them :o) and you will help them survive and give them a little joy. Peace
