Lol the perfect role for Sammo Hung, food and kung fu! 😂 However that poisoned seasoning I don’t think that was salt, it’s too fine to be salt, in my opinion it’s monosodium glutamate widely used in Chinese cuisine. One of the most famous brand of glutamate that is extracted from algae is Ajinomoto from Japan.

@@c1rcles438 My uncle who is the chef of my Chinese restaurant would also do the same, instead of adding salt, pepper or whatever at the beginning, he would add a touch of glutamate at the end of the cooking process just to bring out the umami flavor from the dish. If the subtitles of the movie talk about salt, I think it could be probably a misinterpretation, a lost in translation.

and promises his girlfriend to return soon.. what a bad boyfriend, he should have invented her to come with him, instead of “forcing” her to just stay there waiting for him.

You cannot be serious. Who the hell takes their girlfriend on a business trip? She's gotta be there to manage the restaurant And he didn't force her to do anything. Like, jeez dude, think

@@deepaparakkal4241 why is it that every time i comment on one a recap video, at least on person has to say... you can no be serious.. i am totally serious... do you really think/ believe that she is the only person one who is capable of running the restaurant? a lot of people actually takes their loved ones with them, when they are going on a business trip. and didn’t you se the “ next to forcing. so i actually didn’t say he literally forced her to do anything, i just used the word since i wouldn’t think of a better word... i could also have said he was “abandoning” her, and leaving her with the the burden of running the restaurant. that doesn’t mean he literally abandon her 🙄 so think of it this way. he was going the travel all over the world to learn about food. can that be done in just a month or two? no it might take years before he returns.. and think about all of the amazing places he will visit/see, the new cultures. and he might meet someone famous.. that would truly be a one in a lifetime experience. so why not share it with her.. but yeah you just want her to take care of the restaurant while he is literally having the time of his life training all over the whole world..

The nostalgic feeling, when I was 11 yrs old me and my mother would watch this movie together. It was very fun to watch until time flies so fast
