Let's look at the good and evil, joy and suffering question. Let's look at the number 2. Cells double during growth. We got up and down, left and right, in and out north and south east and west masculine and feminine and on and on. Duality is required for every aspect of life. Meaning there must be evil. Like anything it can become imbalanced. The gift is life. Try to imagine existence with no experience. That sounds like the worst jail ever. Perhaps the floods and other similarly devastating events in earths history are the reset button when we're out of balance. This time around evil managed to hide knowledge, corrupt ours and dominate. I used to be a hard core atheist. Like, one of those annoying people that would let out a sneeze and curse anybody who said, "bless you" afterwards. We don't know what consciousness is, or if it can be elevated to higher dimensions. We only have theories. There are things we see daily that are baffling and can't be explained by the "experts." This is comforting and scary at the same time. When someone having high IQ sees spirituality like this, it is always interesting because we are more likely to believe, compared to someone who is just someone representing some form of religion. Even though, intelligence point of view, IQ does not equal intelligence in other areas, like emotional and less known ”spiritual intelligence”, because it is harder to measure. No such thing as a person with 195 to 200 IQ if average IQ is 100 with a standard deviation of 15. 195 IQ would be 6.33 standard deviations above the mean, and the rarity of that is 1 in 100 billion. There aren't enough people in the world to compare someone to to assign that IQ. 200 IQ is 6.77 standard deviations above the mean and the rarity of that is 1 in a trillion.
