NO DOUBT they got lasting power from what I tested lol. The fact I did 200 is actually wild since many shoes start to fail a day or two after the 100 kickflips in which I again add about a weeks worth of wear damage, more so toe cap wise. I got some 480 New Balance and while they are still holding up, there is a GOOD amount of damage not so much after the first 100 kicks, but by the second 3 hour session. And I skate far less these days. And thank you as well for the comment, engagement, and input. I can't remember the last loooong lasting pair of SB's I had, but to be fair these are Goliaths in their own right being the thick and I don't know much SB's or other shoes to do that typically outside of some Old school shoes like some Es Accel and some Dc shoes and all that, DVS as well. Hopefully theyre on Black Friday or cyber Monday sell right now if you get the purple ones. Skatewarehouse may have 20% off still or some shit if they are there.

Yeah I see them for a little over 100 on skatewarehosue after the discount taken from their $120 price tag. NOW that may not be the cheapest, I havent actually looked but knew off hand they had a sale going. Google the shoes is what I do and shop around if youre buying online

I use the regular version. Not ADV marked, if I understood correctly it's not for skateboarding? Bought it for like 59 USD on sale. Black and gum sole, low cut shoes I think, but definitely not mid cut, it's lower than that. The main difference is there's only 1 overlap (2 pieces of suede in the ollie/kickflip area. So in your video there's like 2 overlapping part (3 pieces) that goes around the shoe right? Mine only has 1. Still triple-stitched. I've probably done 200 ollies still looks good. The lace will probably give up first. I have the same problem. No extra laces!

Yeah sounds about right from What I recall. The ADV (advanced) is adidas skate version of shoes. *although I don’t think all skate adidas have ADV so that may be a specific type of skate shoe so there’s others that won’t have ADV that are still skate. Now with these, yeah the non ADV ones are NOT the skate ones but are far more cheaper, have better color ways from what I seen but honestly mayyyyy last just as long. I don’t feel they always do thaaaaat much different; brands in general not just adidas, when they take a preexisting shoe and revamp it into a skating version that really make tons of difference. *Obviously there’s exceptions to it and some are STACKED with skate needed backing. $59 USD is basically HALF of what I paid here had they not been on sale. I believe they were going for $120 USD unless that was just the Maite skater color way. I been scrubbing Amazon for bulk laces that are discontinued, ripped laces are a BUMMER🤣🤣 Maybe a bit of super glue on them can help, just don’t glue it to the darn shoe!

With this review you've saved me some money. It's quite good, cool, but expensive shoes. They won't last long for me doing 200 ollies on a usual training day. PS. Still searching for a good pair that can withstand at least 2000 ollies, any ideas? :)

DAMMMMNN lol, 200 Ollies or 2,000? Im assuming the 200 and if 2000!, I can't even bullshit you and pretend I do have an idea that I'd be confident in lmfao. I never did a bunch of just straight Ollies to really know. And to my knowledge the kickflips tend to do some of the most damage, I thought the worse in fact. I'm at a lost in regards to just ollie damage but for me, generally speaking most shoes get me around to the 3 week mark on the high end of things, 2 on the lower. The 3 weeks I find to be adequate. Depends on how long you want a shoe to last I reckon and find suitable ? Often times leather cupsoles tend to really hold up for me but that could be because it's harder for me personally to skate lol. Hell even these Adidas I would imagine will last a long time, they withstood the most damage I believe to date with how they handled the 200 but your expectations of a shoe seen these as less than lol. Youre killing it, it seems beyond what I can for SURE recommend. I almost wonder what a lot of Ollies will do to a shoe, just straight Ollies. You got me curious now lmfao. I still wanted to do 1,000 kickflips in a pair of shoes. I was thinking of doing so with a pair of the Es OG accel shoes. I havent fully done those but almost want to posit those but not sure how the bottoms fair and have only did a week or so with them. You might have to get some BRICKS, some of the Osiris shoes, DC, Es OG Accel's like those bulkier types of shoes from the golden era. Osiris, DVS, all of that. I'd look at those maybe but again I can not at this time with certainty give you an exact shoe that will for sure withstand 200 and or 2000 with ease.

the outsole is thicker and more supportive but the flick is clunky and slow (if youre not use to cupsoles that is) and the lack of board feel is also brutal. I for sure like the flexibility of the Leo's, the support it does have but also how it breaks in easier allowing for great board feel and a more dialed flip. I can feel my foot, top and bottom on the board as flick it vs thick outsoles. I didnt get to skate these adidas beyond what's here so that's worth mentioning but doubt they would be that much better.

These are like from the 70s I want to say or some shit lol. Point being it's a old shoe just reworked into skate versions which they literally do for most their shoes as well as nike annnnnnd seemingly don't care if it's for the better or worse like these lmfao. These were ATROCIOUS but they still did it. I didn't even realize they just re release the same shit and thought all these new skate shoes were novel, most of them been out. In fact my ass almost bought the wrong color in these before seeing I had to get the skate versions lol. It's kind of like the Hollywood safe film remake shit or Marvel pumping only going for Box Office hits vs being innovative at all. *What it is in part is since the old shoes been around forever, some quite literally since the 70s, they know it sells still so making a line for skating means you get to cash in on the general market that love said shoe, AND then extend it to skaters that can now buy them on some skate shit potently opening it up to another consumer base, BUT if it doesnt quite hit for skaters, you still just got said shoe, just another color way or rendition of it since it's more or less the same and it's like a safe bet for them vs trying something completely new. *Basically the general market will buy them *at large regardless of it's a skate version or not, many don't even KNOW theyre for skating, whereas skaters not so much will just buy some shit if it's not catered in some way to skating if they have the option. So target the safe zone for those that may buy it generally vs what the general market may not buy and just keep the skate additives to it, to a minimum that doesnt completely change the shoe to the point the general fan base for that shoe may not buy them. But again, most the skate changes are not so major at all to where it tends to throw off the general market for say someone who buys Superstars, Campus, Blazers, Dunks, Samba, etc etc. This is my AutismTalk, Thank you for attending, sincerely -BloohdBeYappin

I'm sure most might like it tho, and I know it existed per usual of most Nike/Adidas shoes prior to their entry of skateboarding. *At least I think this one did, either way it was not initially a skate one it appears from what I seen whenever it came about. Seen a couple of different color ways out there for those that may like em, wonder how the non skate ones will hold up tho. Likely more or less the same honestly.
