Please do! At some point ,considering the cost I got these plants, it may be worth it. You could pay us a visit if you took that trip.

Got a Chance to Visit the Conrad Homestead. Its a beautiful 8 acre property! 2 ponds a Creek and big open pasture! They had a few dozen chickens, a flock of sheep, ducks, guinea hens, geese, Lots of meat rabbits, barn cats, a dog and soo many plants and trees . Varieties are numerous! The Garden was loaded with a big over growing strawberry patch, tons of onions, asparagus, apple and peach tree's. It took 2 and half hours to slowly go through everything planted. Root cellar that's also a hurricane shelter and they were revamping a house that was gutted! They could use a donated tractor if anyone is in the KY area of Glasgow. We had chili and Home made Ice cream that was super rich made from the Properties strawberries! Rabbit manure was Paul's secret slow release fertilizer. The Garden beds were heavily mulched over, tarped and had a Market garden feel. The Growing season has just started and there was already so much there. We spent a generous extra 2 hours to bond and share info. Mostly Paul's enthusiasm about what he was doing and growing. He knows nearly everything that is on his property. The kids even educated us on chicken handling. Stuff we Homesteaders didn't know but, will apply. Thank you for having us. Kids keep asking when we can go back. I told them when we move to KY and settle in we can visit again or if we get our Cabins built for the BnB have them over! Much love to the Conrad's. These are EXTRA hard working people. We wish you well and to have a great harvest this year!
