Whenever my husband sees all of the food I made on the table he smiles, kisses me, gushes with excitement, tells me how impressed he is, pulls out my chair for me first, and fills my plate with food first. He is so so appreciative of everything I do - something as simple as a (bombbb ass) dinner. You BETTTT I am the exact same way with him! When he takes the time to cook, I give him the biggest hugs, and I am so appreciative. He cooks the best food too and it makes my stomach full and my heart warm. These men deserve women who appreciate these efforts. Four years later he was bitching to me about her and asked why I was smiling. Dude, who do you think you think you're talking to? You think I was the bad guy? The one with the house and the kids 24/7/365 ? Romans 12:20 The GF I had 8 years after divorce was someone I had known for decades but didn't know she was bi-polar yet. Bi-polarism includes a very strong sexual aspect. She really couldn't help herself when it came to sexual attention from anyone else. It drove her crazy when I pointed out her infractions. I knew I would never marry her within a month or so. I never saw her rebuff a sexual advance from anyone before we broke up. I was never angry and that blew her away every time. "Nope nope nope. Not signing up for that sh*t" - actually said that a few times. Kind of funny when she would threaten a breakup and do it. LOL Fine by me. Saves me the words. She came back 5 times, but I knew it would never work out. Shocker ending - In a schizophrenic state, she shot a co-worker at her office and spent 7 years in Texas penal system in the mental health arm of it. I'm good with not dating anyone. Much better off than I ever was with a wife or GF in my life.

Both Aussie Cop and the guy with his wife handled that situation like real men. If the dude with her was being genuine about not knowing about the marriage which is not certain but just going off of face value, that was a very outstanding outcome for a very crappy situation. The officer kept his cool the entire time while still being assertive and the guy, clearly in the wrong, left with about the best possible thing to say in that bad situation. Kudos to them both, hopefully they both find better for themselves.

It’s also not fair to the person dating someone that said they were single only to be confronted by a wife or girlfriend. When it happened to me I felt so bad for the girlfriend that was lied too because we had only been dating for a few months so it wasn’t that serious for me but it devastated her. Even though her and I met so she could return some of my belongings and I explained I had no idea she existed she still ended up staying with him. I have no doubt that relationship didn’t last I however met the love of my life shortly after and have been happily married for 30 years 🥰
