A good tip for really early game: Craft a lot of pebble axes and throw them at big enemies. It takes about 7-10 to take down a wolf spider and you can pick them back up and do it again.

Ummm here's a tip. Use terrain as a weapon. Especially single player. You can use the natural terrain objects as a defense and as a way of attack without you being in danger

Instructions unclear. Tried to snipe a wolf spider from an oak tree root. It walked around me to the base of the tree and walked up the root....from behind me.😱

@@alejandrobotero8725 to use terrain against spiders above orb you need to either grass or use thing like the big leafs in the upper terrain. if a wolf cant walk to it it will jump there and so will widows however some gass you climb on can be above their attack range and with widows the only concern will be the web shots which are a concern on the leafs the spiders cant jump on (idk if its an elevation or the kind of leaf since they can hop on the ones around the tree) but if there is any path to walk to where u are the spiders will take it. now there are ways to exploit this and long term widdle them down as the jump the spiders do take time and yours dont. also if you get ontop of the straw of a juice box they cant get there and will aggro but cant get you though they will skit around in a circle around you. also anything small like character size terrain (ie nails) and such can serve as terrain control for killing things. terrain control can make it easy to control and kill

For tip 44: The best set for me when hauling items is red ant baby, intern badge, full red ant, and hauling hero. I also use grass master and natural explorer to offset the speed de-buff. I can carry about 54 with hauling hero tier 2. Update: With max hauling hero, fluffy pupa, red ant, intern badge, and worker’s comp, I can hold 64 planks. This also includes baby red ant.

Shinobi Sand is one of my favorite items in the game. I cannot believe the disrespect it's getting. If you ever need to revive someone, it's a free revive. The damage debuff is only applied for like 3 seconds, they just don't want you attacking while invisible. The self-damage is completely negligible. The item is a godsend for players that want to get out of jail free. You can use it to get past the black widow in the undershed or any other dangerous bug guarding a location.

The upgrade rocks have been respawning for me, it takes many days but going back to the tunnels, ant caves, and antlion caves, we've been seeing more stones. Obviously I don't know how many days it takes but it has been happening.

To piggy back off of tip 38, if you leave the cooked meat on the spicket, the cooked food won’t start to spoil till you take it off. I always leave 3 on it and replace when needed

Ladybugs can easily be cheesed early game if you fight the one near the pond and flower bed, you need to find the plants with the big droopy leaves that are sort of near the juice box and make sure she always shoulder rams it.

I would add one more tip. The handy gnat is very helpful to build in the sky when you dont know how to get grass planks or sticks up to your build. Just cut them down on the ground and the gnat can carry up to 25 pieces mapwide!

If you are on extremely low health and have no heals quickly activate meat shield then re-activate your other mutations after, it will heal a little bit of your health but it helps in sticky situation

For tip #155 54:50 Shields are best used in conjunction with other players, and are meant to be stacked with armor that increases your threat level and buffs your blocking (Think Roly Poly Armor). They are designed to make you a defensive powerhouse, able to take blows for your teammates and hold aggro, while they do all the damage. Pair them with weapons and mutations that allow you to do AoE damage, like Pinch Whacker and Shocking Dismissal to compensate for reduced damage output, and maintaining aggro on insects.

Tip39, i would modify that statement. True you have to use random part to repair, but if you simply upgrade the broken weapon that also repair it at the same time. Until you cant make repair glue that also a great way to be cheap on those parts.

Great video. I have an unrelated question though. I can't find any info online and it drives me crazy. So when I started playing this game few weeks ago everytime some kind of crafting process completed in any building (like grinder, wheel, etc) there was a visual indication in a form of a checkmark icon on top of it. But at some point in time these checkmarks disappeared. And I have no idea why and how to change this.
