Hey Nathan, my dad and I are a lot like you and currently have 14 cars. WE LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!! We have an assortment of newer and older BMWs but our favorite is the e38 and e39, more specifically the e39 wagons. My commuter is a 525iT and just bought a 540iT for $350 and its actually in decent condition, I'm dropping a new engine in it. I really can rely on your videos for help so thank you. If you ever come across a wagon can you make a video on the hatch struts replacement. I cannot find anything useful on the internet and both cars will need it done. very valid and straightforward. 1 question, if the air suspension indicator is on, even after replacement, would that be the fuse or computer in general? I hv a 01' 3.0 with 146K, and curious of replacement

Hi Nathan thanks a lot for the video. I successfully replaced the bags per your instructions but still hanging low when left for a few hours. What else could it be? The pipes? The compressor itself leaking?

My 2006 x5 is sagging all around my air pump don’t come on I have self inactive on the dash what can it be I never change the air bags on all 4 wheels?

There is a computer for the air bags located in the wheel well and battery box area. If the drain in the bottom of the battery box is clogged water may collect in the tray and short out the computer. It controls the whole system and may say check air leveling system.

Hey how are u doing? Thanks for posting these kind of videos. I also like the make by yourself thing. I got a problem on my Right rear end. But the problem os not the airbags. Cause its not lowered on that side . Its lifted. I mean i got no leaks on my airbags. What do you think could be the problem???

Did you have any lights on the cluster when you had the leak? I have abs and traction control lights and have been told they are due to the airbag suspension. I know my rear right has a leak

hey guys. I have the air compressor with two small air tanks for the air bags, I took them off my 03 e53 4.4i after I switched to springs. If anyone needs them I'll let them go for a bargain.

Thats absoluetly fucked up. The suspension bags are held into place with just clips, no nuts, not bolted, but clipps, fark me, thats cheap and dodgy.
