Stephen Short nonsense. Carly always respected Lila and would never have shut her out of Michael’s life. As she said, she had already called. I had to laugh when Monica said it was too late to avoid a scene thanks to Carly. The whole Q bunch descended on Carly and Sonny and began to loudly berate them. Alan threatened Sonny. All Sonny did was tell him to get out of his way, but Alan had to act all macho. But the scene was Carly’s fault. The Quartermaines are self entitled bullies. They were lucky Sonny was able to restrain himself.

Jason, Carly and Sonny all at different points in time and MULTIPLE times always welcomed Lila AND Emily, Lila was never banned, so Ned, didn't do anything. There was nothing to do. Ned might want to remember he has a kid of his own, that he essentially let go of for the family business, so.
