here's the story that Alexis needs to paint. Sonny is a legitimate business man who imports coffee. Sorel wants use that business to move drugs, so he used Mike to extort Sonny to move his product. Carly thought she could help Mike by getting Sorel busted and took matters foolishly into her own hands. and you have zero evidence that proves otherwise! in fact, the evidence you do have fully supports that chain of events.

This really shows the difference between Sonny and Jason, in their relationships with Carly. Jason would have understood what she was trying to do, and acted like it was all okay, and then done everything he could to fix the problem Carly caused, and then she'd return the favour by screwing up again. He enabled her bad behaviour and Sonny doesn't. Carly has never been in a situation or relationship where she couldn't talk her way out of things (I saw someone on here once call it the "Carly mind-melt", where she talks circles arounds someone until the other person relents and gives her what she wanted). It doesn't work on Sonny, and ultimately, that's what Carly needs in a partner. I don't necessarily ship Sonny and Carly, but I can see how she's going to have to learn and grow and change in order to make it work... I never watched GH after SJB left, so I don't know how their storyline ultimately played out, but Sonny is good for this Carly, even if she doesn't see it yet
