Personally I'm glad the writers made Carly and Jason best friends, she needs him more as a best friend than a lover. If she would have remain lovers with Jason she would have ruin their relationship forever and eventually made him hate her. I think their friendship and bond is pure gold and I wouldn't want to see it no other way. Carly got enough enemies and she been through too many lovers, what she needs is a rock solid friend like Jason to walk her through all her trials and tribulations.

It's been said that Jason is always helping Sonny and Carly.....always cleaning up their mistakes.....he's a robot.....all I see is a man who loyal to two people who he cares for and who cares for him......they never once tried to change him......he could of walked away......which he did on a few occasions.......but he always came back......he did what he wanted.

Carlin Jones. To me Tamara Braun was a good replacement to Sarah Brown's Carly. She had more of the same type of physicality and looks as Sarah Brown. She also seemed to have studied her because she acted the most like the original Carly.

I disagree when people say that they destroyed Jason and Carlys relationship to prop up Sonny and Carly.....every decision Jasons' made has been just that.....his..... it's wrong to think that he gave up his life or did the things he did because he didn't want to.....Jason chose to remain loyal to both of them.....if didn't want to be in their lives he would of just left.

OMG I know right! I was always uncomfy with how they dealt with Sonny's bipolar disorder. I understand that it was true to the character (Sonny not wanting to be on meds, distrusting psychologists ect) but it also let him spiral so many times unnecessarily. Mo did some of his best acting during Sonny's breakdowns but I can't help but wonder if at least *some* of the chaos in Sonny's relationships (with both Brenda and Carly) might not have existed if he'd been in a better place emotionally.
