14:17 nice little battle. I'm sure the folks from The Sopranos will use it in a couple of years.

Goodys sponsored two races a year back then. They sponsored the fall Martinsville race until 1997 and then spring Martinsville race from '97 to 2000 as the Goodys Body Pain 500. They also sponsored the fall Bristol race starting in 1994-1999 as the Goodys Headache Powder 500.

aww man... this is the 1st time I saw that commercial of Dale Jr. Coming up to ask Sr. if he could have the keys to car... Its always kinda sad & fun to watch them two together

I get why this is sad for you. February 18, 2001. That was the fateful day, when Dale Earnhardt Sr. raced his last lap. The 2001 Daytona 500. No one in the history of NASCAR will ever forget him. Rest in peace, Earnhardt Sr. And may Jr. carry on your legacy.

2:56:45 "Mark Martin his first win since Dover in September 1990, 15 races ago." Wow, crazy how in 10 years there was only 15 races. lol. Bob Jenkins was one of the very best though, I just found that little bit funny.

That wreck of Kenny Wallace's where his throttle stuck is definitely scary in hindsight, seeing as how later on in the season that same issue would cause the deaths of Adam Petty and Kenny Irwin

This battle took place on the exact day I was born. So I have respect to this race's winner. But my favorite track is Thunder Valley's Bristol Motor Speedway, a short track measuring over half a mile featuring its infamous 36-degree bank turns. Anything can happen at Bristol, and car crashes aren't the only thing that happens.

Not at all. These races got better ratings than today's races, and for good reason.

Thats a good question honestly 🤔. Considering it killed at *least* one person, you'd think they'd have it figured out on cars with over 700 horsepower

Yet another short track race/win that got away from Rusty due to bad luck and poor pit strategy. Rusty would’ve been the all time modern era short track winner if he’d had Jeff Gordon and Jimmie Johnson good luck.
