2000 Jeep Cherokee XJ - Front Axle Build

I did my own gears and I haven't had any issue with over 4 years of wheeling. I must have done something right!

I built my dana 30 slowly over a few years. I did an artec truss, gussets, chromoly shafts, solid diff cover, Johnny Joints in the upper control arms, 4.10 gears and a lock right locker. I have been running 33's for 6 years but just got some 35's.

@@AllProAutoOffroad Yeah I like to rock crawl so I wanted it to be reliable. An aftermarket 44 is just too expensive and building my dana 30 only cost me $1200.

The blue box of motive gears are the cheap one’s should have got the yellow box

Great video! On the subject of lockers: ARB (air) vs any electric activated type locker. Is the ARB still king or do you use e-lockers successfully too? What's your personal favorite and choice based on experience? Thank you!

We mostly sell ARBs. I can't stand the e lockers personally
