It's never a good feeling waking up in the night to heavy rain on the tent! I'm currently looking at small lightweight tarps to go over the tent. Those Van Vans go anywhere! The trails look a bit rough in spots but you both did well getting through! Adding runners into the mix was an extra challenge! Great scenery along the trail, I'm starting to think that I'd love to explore the UK on the TET! Gotta love riding on those days when the rain comes in sheets, but at least you seem to time it well. Especially by the time you camped!

Great ride, I’m enjoying this series! You should get a folding survival-camping saw, just in case there is a limb you can’t move. Not too costly and might save you some miles backtracking. Keep it going!

Keep it up Lavi and Ollie. Loving the fun you’re both having on this adventure. It’s a shame you’re cutting out the South West loop. There’s some great trails, and epic scenery, especially down here in Cornwall where I am. Hopefully it means you’ll plan for it in a future adventure series - Round Great Britain sticking as close to the coast as possible?! I’ve always wanted to do that route.

Wow The Ship and Anchor at Ford !!!. I motorcycle camped there about 45 years ago on my little Yamaha RD 200 with a mate of mine on a Honda 250 Super Dream, it was a great little campsite. Also did you know that just a few hundred yards down the road from The Ship and Anchor is Ford open Prison ? Are you sure that the tracks you are using across the south downs are legally open to motor vehicles ? i can't find many Byways on the os map in that area.

Haha... I have gotten stuck a few times at 10:00 point, it is quite a tricky part, even more so now with trees down along it in this vid. The Trundel is lovely, great views down to the coast and a really fun downhill... all part of the Roman Road 🙂 Olli's mullet is coming along well 🙂 It is so nice seeing familiar trails on your explore. Soon you'll be in new places Ive not seen, so can't wait to see some of the UK's lanes I've yet to explore. Brilliant series guys, I hope you get some better weather, what a rubbish summer! 😀

I may be wrong, but I think it's FI, not F1. I think it stands for Fuel Injection, ie a fault with the fuel injection system. It might have been caused by Lavi going through all that water too fast and getting some water in the air intake. A similar thing happened to me with my Fiesta car after I went through a Ford that turned out to be much deeper than I expected. I limped home and thought I would take a look at it in the morning, but by then it had dried out and was running OK again.

If you think campgrounds are expensive in U.K., during my vacations, I paid between CAN $42.00 to CAN $54.00 a night for my campgrounds. And the showers were token activated. Overall, I racked up 1591 km. on my Tuareg, about half roads and half trails down the St-Lawrence river in Québec.

Try riding on the trail without your pack on the back. Try saddle bags to get the weight down as low as possible. Your back tyre is much too hard. Let the pressure down.

F1 light you need to check oil level first. Then you need to know how to read the fault codes. It's in the service manual PDF copy it to your phones. Did it go off on it's own if so may be wet in electrics.

Just look where you want to go. More throttle takes weight off front tire. Braking transfers weight forward, which makes soft ground more of a problem.
