Great video and effort. It brings back memories of my ride (at a touring pace) this summer. I can appreciate the difficulty of racing, especially on a single speed! Thanks for sharing.

Hey Justin. We crossed paths on this year's Tour Divide in Steamboat at McDonalds. For some reason it took them forever to get my food haha. Anyways, I enjoyed your company and it was nice to talk to have someone to talk to after a long day out on the trail. I enjoy your content and enthusiasm for biking. It keeps me stoked. Keep it up and I am excited to tune in for your next adventure!

Connor! Thanks dude! It was so good to meet you... Steamboat (and most of Colorado) was a low point for me but meeting you was definitely a highlight. And how about your finish!? Way to go man, proud of you... helluva ride!

It's nice to see summer when it's winter outside! There's an atmosphere, especially the music in the video.

Magnificent video and story, admirable level of single speed insanity ❤

2k on a single speed doing one of the hardest races in the world is nothing to be ashamed of. You did good considering the aches and pains, along with the ever changing weather. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this video of your personal experience.

Great video Justin. Thoughtfully filmed and edited with some nice music. Brought back some great memories of this years TD as I completed it in 25 days. In 2022 I broke six ribs on the final descent in Canada to the US border after hitting a rock at speed. Sorry to hear you couldn’t complete the TD this year

Is top 5 climbs based on enjoyability or difficulty? If ranked by enjoybleness: 1. Marshall Pass 2. Stemple pass 3. Richmond peak 4. Fleecer Ridge 5. Boreas Pass
@jjjjustinАй бұрын
I was going to rank them on how enjoyable they were... I mostly agree with your list but Fleecer and Stemple wouldn't make the cut... my favorite is Huckleberry!
@yumyumhungryАй бұрын
@@jjjjustin I'll have to try huckleberry when I don't get caught in a hail storm and then have a strap from my rack get sucked into my cassette at night. I'm sure it's really nice in some warm daylight.

@@jjjjustin I was all trained up for this year, but surgery one month before trip ended that. Planning next summer 2025 start in Banff. I rode from Roosville down to Breck in 2021, border was closed to CAN. Dig your Ti build, I've got a Chumba Stella Ti from 2019. Happy trails☮
