What wheel and tire combo are you running Like the setup. I same body style grand vitara. Just about done with my bumper build. Planning on rock sliders next. And probably a 235 70 r16.

Hey brother what’s the size of the tires that you have in this video.? I’m working on mine and im looking at tires. I don’t want something huge but something that at least give the car more rugged looking. Actually like yours

Those were 245/75R16s. It took a 2” body lift and 2.5” Old Man Emu lift

Shouldn't these be attached to the chassis and not the body? if you hand up on them it might tear the body mounts?

Ideally yes, I’m not doing too much rock crawling. It’s mostly to prevent a rock I didn’t notice from ending inside the cab. If I were to attach them to the chassis I couldn’t of attached them to the body, and I wanted as much clearance as possible.

Does that mean they are all show no go?

@@hcr32slider they’ve held up fine for the last 3 years. I don’t use it for much of rock crawling, but I’ve smashed them against boulders without an issue. If I was going to do a lot more rock crawling I probably would have build them out of tubes and attached them to the frame.
