My son Sam was chosen & we went & had an awesome time. He was an awesome person & sadly died unexpectedly at age 25 from a blood clot. I am thankful for Disney & UNESCO & all the wonderful people we met on our trip to Disney world.❤❤❤❤❤❤

I wish I could go back in time to re visit Epcot at this time, I remember going to the Millennium village when I was in 6th grade. It is one of my favorite Epcot memories.

Thank you so much for this. This video is what started my Disney obsession. I ended up taking a Disney vacation in April of 2000. It was by far my most favorite Disney vacation. There was nothing like being at EPCOT in the year 2000.

I was at Walt Disney World in 2000, this brings me memories, thank you. Greetings from Uruguay, had a great time in the U.S. And beeing in the parks of Disney was like beeing in a fantasy place where everyone was good and nothing bad could happen. It was really magic. I felt it like the safest place in the world. Really :-)

Unfortunately, I was so young when I went with my family to Walt Disney World in '99 that I was really only interested in meeting the characters... I do wish that I could've experienced all of "the World's" late 90s features, such as ExtraTERRORestrial Alien Encounter, Body Wars at the Wonders of Life pavilion in Epcot, and Millennium Village! I couldn't even ride Tower of Terror or the (then-new) Test Track... I did ride "Countdown to Extinction" (a.k.a. "DINOSAUR") at Disney's Animal Kingdom!

If your parents were thinking Downtown Disney was just Pleasure Island, they would have been correct. That marketing far exceeded that of the Downtown Disney part of that area.
