Great video! How did you choose the words for the video? Did you do this based on frequency lists? If you know all these words, how much will you understand in daily life?

If you knew all these words you would maybe get the gist of some conversations, but it would be frustrating. Also most of these words are changed when used in daily conversation, like they are gendered or plural so it would sound familiar but still confusing. But it would be useful for some basic communication

I highly doubt that words like "work" or "cicada" (I do not even know what "cicada" means!) are among the 2000 most important words in the Bulgarian language, or in any language for that matter. Too bad, it reduces the value of this video

Cicadas are the bugs that live in trees and make a ton of noise in the summer. They are extremely common in Bulgaria

I agree with you that there are many unimportant words in this video, but work is a very important word in any language.
