Thanks for watching all! I know this is a decade that is still quite fresh in the memory for most, and a lot of people will be saying 'where is x, y, z'. If you have any suggestions of riffs that I've missed, let us know in the comments below!

What😂 grunge was dead by the early 2000s it was the start of post hardcore, emo/scremo and punk rock had hit its peak and was on the decline. Also metalcore was starting to get big… grunge was dead by 99

@@bloxsy_ ah, I was curious since I believe the main riff is on bass and the guitars play the leads over it. From watching this it looks like you played it in drop C which seems odd for a non-heavy band but then again they have a song 'Acid Turkish Bath' which is in drop C. I got a similar sound with downtuning and my Whammy set to an octave down, which I thought sounded nice

Thank you! I probably already mentioned but I thought about changing it back to that name.

Love this, though after watching The 1990s video, you can see the bangers per year ratio is definitely reducing. Still some great riffs in the 00's but not as much to go around.

This was great! Have you ever made a video where you played the guitar part to 15 Step? It sounds like it should be simple to me but I've never figured it out.

Thanks. I was playing through a Boss Katana mk2. All sounds were from there and plugged directly into my laptop using a USB.

Seems like after 2001-2005 rock really took a turn to more poppy less grunge....

Hard to choose, but the cover of Beck’s E-pro might be the best one.

Great compilation, I would add in “I’m not ok - MCR”, “American Idiot - Greenday”, “in the morning - Razorlight” and “take me out - Franz Ferdinand”. Don’t particularly like any of those songs but they are undeniably iconic riffs.
