I have this camera as well, only difference is I got it new when it was released 😂. For a 4MP sensor it makes some great pics, better than a newer Nikon digicam I have.

Hey there! I just found my dad’s old Canon A520 camera in the garage. Oof problem is, i dont know how to “reboot/start” it yk? There’s no batteries in it, an old Sandisk memory card is still inside it…yeah if someone could help me w/ bringing life back to this old camera, that would be awesome!

hmm I’m not quite sure, if you’re shooting manual mode and have a high ISO it’s really going to come out overexposed. I usually would just switch the dial to standard mode that way it adjusts automatically. What are your settings

Hi Leticia! I use my phone to vlog trips (I own an iPhone 11!) sometimes friends’ phone. I recently started using the DJI Pocket 2, love using it but battery life is too short :( can’t even change its battery but you can use it while connected to a power bank. Vlog cams from canon, Sony, Fuji are all good and they’re selling them for a really good price but setting it up while on filming in public can be a pain (tho it’s the same when filming with phone on a tripod) haha for reference, 90% of videos I have here are shot using my phone. Hi! The battery is the only downside, or maybe I’m doing it wrong. New pair would usually last me a a couple of hours but continuous use is like a good 30mins and it’s done, but it could also be the camera (second hand and old!)

Hi! So the film effect, you can achieve it thru editing (say if end up using Sony zv1 for vlogging) but getting a camcorder is def a much cheaper option, you won’t won’t have to worry about “editing” and any digicam 2010-2019 if you use it for video you’ll get the same low quality nostalgic vibes iykwim haha for photo shoots, for photo shoots do you mean digicam or a dslr? all the best!

@simis2265 hi! I made a camcorder vlog (a day in Madrid) and I used the Sony HDR CX-405, I got it because Emma Chamberlain uses it and I really liked the quality from it. Check the vlog, if that’s the kind of old cam vibes you’re looking for ☺️
