Rode one today, what a great bike. Easy to ride fast, and the most comfortable saddle of any bike I've ever sat on. Superb balance of sport against touring.

Its 2024 and mine is the flame red as in this video - 22 years old and with matching panniers. I am 2nd owner on 41000miles. Bike is still excellent and is a true rare modern classic now. They are terrific road machines.. good ergonomics, plenty of power and torque .... and the styling has aged remarkably well ! likely I will just keep it for occasional days out when I want the classic experience 😉

I love mine, My was actually neglected by the previous owner and it only has 15k miles and the only problem it has is all the plastic is getting old but this bike is amazing good.

I'm 73. best bike I've owned. why would someone not ride this more often. it's great all around. light, narrow, fast. good for old skinny people like me. you're gonna die of something. do it with fun.

Almost bought one of these (this exact color) back in the day. Test rode it, etc. Then found out the dealer (the only one for hundreds of miles) was going to close down in a couple months, so I backed out of the deal. Have always like this bike.

I've been lucky enough to have a Honda VFR and Aprilia Futura. The 1000cc vtwin has 120hp/75tq vs the Honda VFR with 100/45 but the Honda has a superior engine. Smoother, better revs. Better sound. The Aprilia has a catalytic converter under the dry sump engine that kills the decibels. Both are supremely comfortable bikes that anyone would enjoy. More comfortable than an R1, yet keeps up with them on the streets. Both of these are great bikes for a weeekend ride out around the mountains

A lot more bike than money these days, rode mine from Nice to London in a day, any bike you can do that on is ‘comfortable’. Commuted accros central London daily so quite flickable once you get used to it. I’m 5’7”, could have used being 5’8” plus. Buy one and head to the Alps.
