Yea the facelift was from 2003 i think, ive got a 2001 one too which was featured on this channel, the headlight corners towards to grill are more pointed rather than the rounder shape

This is a good detailed overview. It is very weird about the door cards denting/creasing I have a 2000 Mark ll JZX110 with only 110,000 kms and the back seats have hardly had any passengers in them and plastic film still on the scuff guards. Yet I have a creased door card, I have no idea what causes it. I hope someone buys this. JZX110’s need more recognition so that there’s more aftermarket support to owners not in Japan.

I drive the only 35th Anniversary 2001 MK II in my country 😍✨️ My one is titanium side piped, those lights come in stock (cause Anniversary version) and have a D4 (5-speed) gearbox... I did a 1JZ FSE swap too... 👏🏼 Love this
