Geoff, i watched this after you mentioned it on a livestream. My mother in law (rip) owned a 2.0 petrol turbo zafira, 197 bhp, 0-60 in 8.2. It was boring, rattled like a handbag, handled like a mk3 cortina and was horrible to drive. But we had some great days out as a family

Our families Zafira has been a part of our family for 21 years, literally has been in the family longer than me and I love it very dearly. I am going to inherit it and will see how long I can keep it going.

I had a Zafira for 4yrs and loved it. Took family and 2 dogs on holiday, help 4 people move house, did many tip trips and even transported a stairlift in it. Miss the space but not the road tax. I'm here coz Geoff let told me to lol

I own a zafira 2003 gsi and i dont care what is anyone's opinion good car spaceus and plenty power problems easy to fix have done the turbo 3😮 times and still going they are becoming rare cars as i call them the underdogs😊

Had my 1.8 Elegance (Opel) since 2001 from new. A bit weathered but still going strong. Often thought to upgrade but am repaying its loyalty. Also ULEZ compliant out of the box 😃 BTW. I really think people that stick with their cars should be given tax breaks as they are helping the environment.

I've just bought myself one that looks identical to yours because I was after a cheap runaround that I'm not too precious about. Mines a 2.0dti Club. Last month I bought myself a Jaguar XFR, a car I've been wanting for a number of years. The 20mpg average from the Jag was to be expected. So it's nice to have some mundane, economical transport in the form of a tall Vauxhall Astra, for tip runs, daily commutes and shopping duties. And it means the Jag feels all the more special on the occasions that I do drive it.

Good recommendation, future Geoff for past Geoff. Bloody love how bad zafiras are. My mate had one with a million issues and worth absolutely nothing. Thankfully someone drove into the back of it a week before it's mot and wrote it off. Somehow they paid out 500quid for it. Amazing!

My family car growing up was a 2001 Zafira. It was this horrible brownish-red colour I can't describe, looked hideous but was easy to spot in a car park. We had it from '02 to '12, served us well overall. Edit: 3:42, did anyone else just get a rush of nostalgia over that boot opening noise? No? Just me? k

My mates dad had a Zafira, he bought so he could transport people to church in it... funnily enough not long after buying it he fell out with the church and did not need to transport people in it...😂😂

I have a 2004 1.6 life with 133000'miles/full service history and 1 previous owner. It's been garaged all its life and it's mint. I'll get another 15 years out of it! Great alrounder decent mpg too!

I am now in my 40’s ( No Kids or Pets ) I mainly used mine over the years as a small van / workhorse, towing trailers / caravans trips to tip etc. I have & I’ve owned several Zafira A’s. 1.6 nippy for an Astra but gutless for a 7 seater MPV, 1.8, 2.0 & 2.2’s, Petrol & diesels, Auto & Manual, from the basic Life, Club to the R Design & Elegances. I Wouldn’t bother with the Zafira B at all, other then buy as scrap / salvage for part 😊s, as they even after been recalled are a fire hazard, in my opinion, ugly, too many electrical issues & not as comfy. I still want a GSi 2.0Turbo, which are getting rarer & dearer to insure & more desirable. Daniel. Keep up with the vids.

I buy cars in Portugal that have finished mot,you can only put the mot on the country of origin, so if it's a bit old and nothing special they sell for cheap,then I sell them for parts because used cars here are very expensive it's easy,I dont really get to choose cars just whatever is available so I get to drive all kinds of stuff that you would never think of buying I love it

Dreadful car. Wedged in with pillows. Nope. Leaning back. Nope. Killed my back. Had to give up trying to overtake Lorrie’s in crawler lane. Drove from st Ives to Norfolk without stopping, just to avoid the pain of attempting to straighten out. And the kids were wailing, non stop in those little seats.
