This was a great video I appreciate you posting this. I followed everything you did, however when I put the glass back in, it will tilt up but not open or slide back. It did without the glass intact. Any thoughts on why?

ATTN S10 Blazer /Jimmy/Bravada/Pick Up Owners: Your vehicle/s sunroof repair is very similiar to this repair posted. You must remove or drop headliner to remove the sunroof assy. after that you have 6 10mm bolts to remove then it comes out. Simple!

What drill bit did you use for drilling out the rivets? I used 1/8 and it just went right through the middle & still left the rivet in the bracket. I used a 9/64 & broke the drill bit. I don't want to mess up the next one so I'm wondering what you used?

My brackets broke on my trailblazer ss and now it won't close probably. On one side stayed opened higher and I can't close it . Do I have to adjust it to the closed position before I start the process of replacing the parts ?

No mine did the same thing and I'm pissed lucky if you go to the junk yard and pull one it will save you so much time and money you'll thank me later paid 15 bucks for a whole sunroof assembly and glass there held In by 10 mm bolts

Wish this video showed how to take the stuck glass out and then back in once rebuilt..8-(

The glass is easy to remove I would just raise the glass up while still in vehicle the glass is just held by a few screws. But if your not able to open the glass up then you have to remove everthing like the video on both sides with hardware still connected. Hopefully that helped a bit if not hope someone can help

@@mrandres7271 Finally found a company that came to my house to rebuild it with the kit. They did a great job but broke the plastic black clip on the passenger sunvisor so still hunting for one of those to get the sunvisor back in. They are taking care of that for me...Sunroof works great. All the drains were clogged too so got cleaned out during the repair.

Where can I get the parts ? I bought a kit on Ebay for $46.00 said made in USA, I think they lied was more like Communist China. The scew holes for metal bar didn't line up. Put screws at a angle to get it started; it worked a couple of times then broke. Will have to buy another kit & do it all over again. Where can I get a kit that fits 2004 Chevy trailblazer ?

So many people pay very little attention to the audio track. This video is another example of a failed video for a needed subject due to poor audio quality. I'm still looking for a video with this important information because someone in this video forgot the importance of the audio track in an instructional video. Many, many important words are covered up by background noise or were pronounced so poorly by the person speakibng that the words are just not understandable. If someone would include subtitles for this video it would be usable for everyone. Unfortunately, reliable subtitles are not a simple thing to include in consumer generated videos. But, thanks for the effort. Looks like you knew what you were doing. Just sad. So sad.
